Hi Allison...I've looked at the Lauren's Hope bracelets before, but there was sooo many cute choices, I was never able to choose. After what I've just been through with my mom being in the hospital for 35 days, I know now better than ever that I need to get one of those bracelets ordered and we need to inform our loved ones about the info on the bracelet so that they can be our advocates in the case of a medical emergency. Thanks for reminding me to get the bracelet ordered. -Debbie

People this is so important to have. My godmother was hospitalized today and is a gastroplasty patient. The nurse came in the room with these huge pills and she was not able to tell them she could not take them. Thank God we were there to help her.
Show us your bracelet when you get one...I'm glad you shared your story because it shows how important these things are in a ER situation. I hope she's doing well now.
NG tubes are for suctioning the contents of your stomach, there should also be a warning about feeding tubes which are also sometimes inserted without xray into the stomach fundus...
I have a bracelet from there too but I've lost it somewhere in my apt :(... I am on Coumadin so I have to wear it... of course now I need to get one for after my surgery. BTW, I love your pooch, he(?) is adorable!!!!!
