  • Good job guys, I look forward to seeing this complete.

  • it is possible to make it without gaps between pixels

  • @Iburinoc could you show an example? We'll certainly keep what we have, but I'm curious as to how it would be done

  • @Chillybeef123 wow, fast response! Its the type of display I used in my pong video, i could go on there and show you, or make a video, but it would be some time until I can get a video up for it

  • @Iburinoc It's okay, I was just curious to see it if you had a quick way of showing me. We're likely using what we have, but I just figured if you had an easy way of explaining it, I could know for future reference...Don't worry about it :)

  • @Chillybeef123 when are you gonna open it up to the world (and me)

  • @Iburinoc not sure, we'll talk about it, and see when we need a lot of people for a bunch of copy and pasting, so to speak; the repetative stuff

  • @Chillybeef123 if you let me on and tell me what to do, I can do it.

  • @Iburinoc sounds good.

  • @Chillybeef123 That would be me, I'd love to join. It's the first computer project in minecraft I've seen that had any potential. I'd love to join and help build/program it. I've got a basic understanding of simple computers and their circuits, A basic understanding of the base 2 math system binary, And I love minecraft and computers with a fiery passion.

  • @Chillybeef123 I just came up with a way of doing it with no gap between pixels, but it adds one tick delay. It should be pretty easy to explain. What you do is take your current design, and instead of powering the torches with redstone on top of the blocks you power it with a repeater behind each block with on it, then power the repeaters by alternating placing wire behind the repeaters, and placing wire on top of blocks that are behind the repeaters

  • @Iburinoc right, we experimented with repeaters, but that was before we decided to go with pistons, so it didn't really go anywhere...Thanks, that's good to know for future projects.

  • @Chillybeef123 no, this desgin powers the repeaters

  • @Iburinoc yes, I understand. I was just saying that we might have come up with that design, had we not gone with a traditional piston design

  • very cool

just as a sidenote i don't like videos because it posts to my facebook and i don't want that, but be assured i watch all of these... :D

wish i knew how to build complicated stuff like this - i will sometime, but not yet...

  • @fractalwizz Thanks for the feedback. I don't need the likes, I was just curious as to how people took to the videos. Although, I mentioned them because it would be nice to get noticed so more people can come on board. again, thanks
