That is not true. Blake was unhappy with the way he was portrayed on the show. Plus, I believe he was fishing on his family's boat in Oregon during the second part of season 3.

Phil on the cornelia maria made the comment of saying he needed a new truck and the Time bandit boys decided it would be funny to prank him buy tying the truck onto one of the cornelia maria's pots...so later on phil and the crew pull up the truck and they all laughed about it and Phil said it was the best prank he had ever seen...it was fuckin hilarious.
