  • shit .. after this vid .. i will just go to store and let them do it ......

  • Cool video. I have a question though. I have a truck that has no radio in it, but my boss gave me one that's pretty nice. Is there really that much for me to do?

  • @KarlMcMAn yeah, it's an in and out easy job when the OEM radio is already out! just take your time and you'll be fine.

  • @ziurracso oh and the car is a 2005 grand prix base stereo with onstar if it makes a difference. :)

  • This is great. I was actually hoping to find something like this. my question is would the process be a bit different if it's a double din stereo? A pioneer avh P2300 to be exact.

  • What is name of the melody ? i like the melody and you work

  • @Antonelforescu the title is get down on the floor and the artist name is the casualone

  • i did exactly the same setup on mine you copy cat =)

  • Thanks for posting this. I have an '04 Sentra SE-R. I just had a Sirius system put in replacing the OEM stereo. However I wanted HD radio also so I bought a Pioneer HD stereo. I figured I could do this since the Sentra has a spare DIM slot. So my question is: how does one put a 2nd stereo unit in? Do you have to solder & split the second unit in, or do they typically provide a 2nd harness? (P.S. I pulled the stereo mount area apart a bit and it seems the same as what you show here)

  • Oh and should I tape up the other wires that I don't solder? Or just leave them hanging? Thanks again

  • Hi thanks a ton for the video. I had no hope that my head unit would ever work because the clip that's supposed to go in to the stock stereo was ripped out of my car so now it's just crazy colors that don't match my head unit wires. I was wondering if you could please tell me which wires go to what from my car. I have a 95 civic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

  • @timhulmes if you google a wiring guide for your car a key of the colors should come up. Just match those with the ones that came with the book for your head unit.

  • this is awesome dude..amma bang my system and wake up all my neighbors

  • @PrecisionConnections I got a 2004 toyota 4runner and I want to put in a "pioneer double din in-dash" touchscreen radio I was wondering if u know how to install something like tht

  • @mcm650 ok

  • I deleted my last comment, I figured out what I needed to do. But I believe I have the Mid-Level system (I have an 02 Se-R) which is the Mid-Level version of the Sentra, which means it should come with a factory amp and sub woofer. I was wondering if you could help me out with hooking that up. If you could, please inbox me or just reply to this comment.

  • I have a JVC KD-G800 that a friend of mine took out of his jeep. The connecter that goes with the deck has a wire for Accesory, Battery, Ground, Illumination, along with all the wires for the Front/Rear Left and Right speakers. What should I splice the Illumination wire into, the Dimmer wire? And the Battery wire into the 12v source wire?

  • I have an 02 Sentra, do I have to buy the faceplate kit online, and where? I'm planning to buy a new radio with USB to play my mp3 player. Is the car compatible with any 1 DIN radio?

  • @JohnMetal91 go to crutchfield to buy the kit! And yes, any single din radio will work!

  • did you have to use the brakets included in the kit or not?

  • @pkramses333 The kit comes with a bracket along with the faceplate flush panel
