Try ordering Tai Chi Kung Fu Fan by Li Deyin from eBay stores. It is only about $5, but in Mandarin with English subtitles. It is an unusual VCD format, which plays on my new laptop pc but not on my American DVD player. It shows fan basics, teaches each section slowly, shows a rear view, and a full performance.

This video is great. I love the fact that they both have a different interpretation of the form but they end up in the same position. I study Tai Chi Chuan myself and I believe that one of the joys fo practicing is seeing the many interpretations of one form, depending on the student's personality and martial arts background.

I am a 46 year old german lady and i started to learn taiji a year ago. My taiji master is the chinese taiji national champion of 1998. If you think, taiji has to be perfectly done, you know nothing about the philosophy behind it.Thats the problem today. Even chinese masters forget the basics and look upon taiji as a sport only. Go to the beijing park and tell all the old men and women performing taiji, they are looking like clowns!

oo! my school since 2005, has always threw on a chinese new year festival. the second annual one, we knew a girl whose mom was the third most reconized and best or something like that tai chi master known throughout the world. out of the my school's asian club, she picks a few (including me) to teach us a bit of tai chi and preform for the show. well, her daughter did the same exact tai chi fan dance! it was so cool
