Hello Tim. The Navy used to take onboard plaits (pigtails) of spun tobacco wound into circular kind of buns or coils. Maybe that's where the name came from. I don;t know about you mate but i've spent the last 2 days clearing volcanic ash off my car in Aberdeen!

Hey Tim great video, One thing i have noticed if you try and reply and include a web address in the reply it will just come up with 'error' but wont tell what the error is. so if you were for example letting people know where to get their snus you would have to put northerner . com in oder to post the comment.

Nice pipe. I acquired a james upshall recently. The JU logo on the stem is a reddish color though.  I don't know if that means its a phony. The james upshal stamping on the pipe seems legit though. You're right, whatever they've done to youtube is nothing short of a cardinal sin. I hope they get it fixed soon. Cheers.

@pipe34101 Hi Alex, in the early days of JU on the really highest grades of pipe they would give the pipe a gold coloured logo, rather than the standard white.. So you may have a really top noch pipe there.. Cheers, Tim
