  • Super !super !album Grand Funk

  • No help from modern technology here. Just pure musicianship. God I miss the70's.

  • The competent drumwork of Don Brewer...

  • GFR was the Matt Hasselbeck of funky rock

  • they were the zepellins of america

  • On the note of Masta Ace flippin this track, De La Soul also sampled this song in 'En Focus', definitely worth checking out!

  • GFR ....was not your average white band... these guys had soul and funk for a 3 man band no one in their time could compete... they sold out shes stadium every time they showed up for the crowd...

  • @WRI201..* Shea Stadium

  • How did three guys with this much talent come from the same town?

  • The cool people grew up with Grand Funk.

  • This was an amazing time period for ROCK........Drums lead the way....harmonies....bass line is cool and the entire melody is interupted with nice changes............these guys were too cool for the day! You wanted to listen while engaging in RAW energy!

  • Word, this is one of those old breaks I was surprised by as a kid. I think I found it in my uncle's garage and figured I'd give it a chance with a few other rock records. This bass line, drums, guitar, very ill.
