Great song great vocals. My ex Mandy(emmy)brought this album back from New York after visiting her sister Julie many many years ago. One of the best days ever was when i had the boys (tavares)singing at my bbq and i got on stage and sung it with them,thaaks to Butch Chubby and Pooch its a day il never forget . He sent me a Penny, a Nickel and a Quarter in a beautiful card. And a roll of each coin. 26 yrs later we are even more in love than we were then. Anything is possible! :)

I loved Tavares......no one could touch them for their beautiful harmonies. I even think their version of "She's Gone" was better than the Hall & Oates original. I always thought this song should have charted higher than it did. I must have called K-98 in Austin every day to request this song. Thank you for posting it.....such wonderful memories. :o)

@Elisabeth1903 - from Wikipedia - The Tavares brothers from New Bedford, Massachusetts and whose parents were of Cape Verde descent, started performing in 1959 as Chubby and the Turnpikes when the youngest brother was 9 years old.

I've done a lot of googling in the past year and have slipped up a few times but this was correct. I now have playlists for every year back to 1900 and 350 more lists by artist and genre, hope you'll take a look! Chuck
