If I disable the tracks I have to record with a metronome running in my head and its making recording EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. i have asio 4 alv2, you didnt explain much, im using a boss me-25 guitar pedal, they just came out this year, yes 2010, i didnt get what you did with the audio clip, i get nothing in play back, i just end up with an audio clip and a blah blah blah channel. if you want to help anyone, i suggest you do another video and take your time.

@DemiFilm Ugghhh I just figured it out. To hear and record you click on the Show ASIO panel in audio options then change it to advanced just enable what you need. In my case I enabled the OUT on realtek audio (my speakers) and the IN on logitech usb mic (my microphone) :]

ive recorded with flstudio so many times. its awesome. but i just redid my pc like a few months ago and since then when ever i have asio on for recording the time jumps a round and my recording is like 50X faster than what i recorded. it really sucks cuz i just got my mixingboard and i need to start putting out some more tunes!

I think fl only supports wav files so you would have to convert your mp3 file or what ever into wav. then you simple make a folder in fl and drag and drop. at least thats what I do.

(but the wav files can only be like 2 min long so you might need to make you files for one song)

I had audacity open with fruity loops and I couldn't figure out how to get them to collaborate with each other. In of itself Audacity is decent. You can make the beats with the piano keys in that a different way. It's still time consuming for sure.

Man this Fruity Loops is too fucking hard and ridiculous. I've been trying for hours to get myself to record samples with the loops but can't get shit to work. No tutorial here will help. Too complex I wanted it to be simple to make beats and record on the fly.

I put the effort of manually making the drumbeats while it was recording using the keyboard. There were a couple times that I was disappointed because I didn't have it recording properly and I had something that sounded good. go to your sound settings and make sure that your sound card is set to your interface, if you don't have one make sure it is set to ASIO4ALL if you don't have a soundcard w asio drivers check Dillies page under project studio and watch ASIO4ALL Exposed.. hope that helps if not MSG me and ill get ya goin
