The ASP ammo is very easy to control. I just finished firing 100 rounds threw my SBR with the AAC M4-2000 suppressor. The rounds are accurate as advertised to 1 MOA. I also did a 20 round rapid fire test at 30 meters and the rounds grouped at 3 inches. when I rapid fire the whole 20 rounds were gone in 9.04 seconds. Very easy to control. Just ordered another 2,000 rounds.
Nothing happens, it only makes a louder sound and is a bit more accurate than without supressor. And the supressor has no effect on the super sonic crack that occurs after the bullet leaves the barrel and/or supressor and breaks the sound barrier in the air.
I just bought a box of the extreme shock .223 subsonic ammunition the silent worrier. I shot it out of my friends suppressed lewis machine and tool ar-15 and I must say I am impressed. It didn't cycle but it recommend 10-15 shots for the round to work properly which we didn't do. How ever I am so impressed with the silentness of this round it was amazing. I was wondering if anyone tried it out of a 1/9 twist barrel yet? his was 1/7 which they recommended.
@extremeshock lol, they die instantly from the traumatic wound channel caused by your .380 ? Thats pure b.s. and you know it. You should be ashamed recommended ammunition like that for hunting animals. They are fragmenting rounds lets be realistic with their applications and limitations. They should not be used for hunting, maybe a mediocre self defense round.
Your grammar is awful, and your poor manners are only exceeded by your ignorance.
You miss the whole point - These animals suffered instant collapse of the central nervous system, creating a very rapid loss of life with almost nil in suffering.
Compare that to all the animals that were killed under PITA's program of "saving the animals". Over 80% of the "saved" animals collected by PITA had to be killed by gassing, a hideous death.
hahahahahah you are retarded. Looks like you had a collapse of the central nervous system all ready so this ammo would do nothing for you if you were shot in the head.
I've been reading how frangible subsonic ammo can seriously harm a silencer due to baffle strikes being more likely. Do you have any tests or something to confirm/deny this?
just got another 20 rounds of air freedom 9mm and fixin to get 50 more ehp rounds.....this is great ammunition and everyone i talk to i tell the same..
This stuff is idea for home defense, non-armored and steel targets. It is just great stuff! While it isn't the best at penetrating small arms plate or anything like that, your average robber or practice target will feel this round nicely and you won't have to worry about OPen. Great round. God bless us all. Take care!
do these require 1/7 twist to eliminate baffle strikes? have a few free samples for me to test??? these are expensive to buy and find out they won't stabilize well enough to risk using in my can.....
This is not made for penetration, it is made to eliminate the sonic boom, so it will be VERY quiet....making the bullet heavier, and reducing the powder charge a bit (different powder?) make it so it still cycles the action.....most subsonics won't--which makes your m16 similar to a bolt action
I thought the comment asking will it kill a black man was hilarious. (My belly chuckled)

will it kill a black man at 100 m ?

Anybody know if these can be used in 1/7 twist barrels?
Can't afford a baffle strike.

If the speed of sound is 1125 fps (768 mph), what happens if you fire a supersonic round though a suppressor?

@IMFDB It breaks the sound barrier and isn't very quite at all.

awesome stuff, bummer that its like $3-5 a shot
you guys should make a target/range round that does not ricochet
azerious85 2 years ago 2
@azerious85 did you miss something? The core of the bullet is powder = no ricochets. For even less ricochet use the air freedom round.
ThePoisonYouth 1 year ago
what would the asp 233 ammo sound like without suppression vs a "normal" 223 FMJ?
markquimby82 2 years ago
Quieter, but still discernable. You need a suppressor to negate the sound.

Can you use the 5.56 subsonic ammo in a bolt action rifle with a suppressor? would there be any potential damage? to the suppressor

We would never hurt the animals. They die instantly from the traumatic wound channel caused by our bullets.
why the name calling? Are you a tree-hugger who never made it with the ladies, gsx750biker?

Basically, military body armour will be enough to stop the round. Frangible rounds are not designed to penetrate armour and hard surfaces.
reborn84 3 years ago
Probably less than useless against modern body armor?
yadeyrinii 3 years ago
It was not designed to penetrate body armor. Main purpose is to create a wound cavity as large as possible. It lives up to this purpose.

why ?
what are modern body armor ?
