@bbutters2 - The artist is "Enya" and the song name is "Boadicea" from the album "The Celts". Boadicea was some Queen who fought some romans and commited suicide or something. The band "Fugees" also took the song and made another version called "Ready or not"

This was the only story Stephen King wrote as a screen play. He was on the set a few times during the shoot other than his cameo. The screen play and the movie are pretty close to identical.

yeah the original was by enya called boadicea. the fugees kinda bootlegged it for their song "ready or not" and was sued by her for illegal use. this woman's voice is surreal. she sang the movie theme "may it be" for lord of the rings, and "far and away" for movie of same title with tom cruise and nicole kidman. give it a listen.

Very nice intro, really sets a creepy, perverse, vibe. Unfortunately, the last half of the movie, esp. the ending isn't as good. Plus that chick who plays Tanya is freaking annoying

The ending was shot twice. The original ending was much better but the creatures looked really fake on the final cut. So we had to re-shoot the whole ending after training the cats to attack With slime on the creature costumes. Due to extra costs the ending was dummy-downed to make up for the huge extra costs.

If the movie had a been a hit, I'm sure Dick would had done a 10yr anniversary DVD with the original ending.....would been cool to see again!
