its easy to blame the breed but my mum had a SHELTIE that went bad after a child hurt it, and tried later it tried to kill a baby,so my grandpa had to shoot it. Because the child wasnt left alone with the dog it fortunately escaped witohut serious injury.

The reason I hate pitbulls is because of their dumbass owners who think its cool when their dog tries to kill other dogs. My dogs have both been attacked by a pit in less than a month. One, a beagle, was hospitalized. The other one is a 12yr old lab mix and she did nothing to provoke the damn dog it just snaped when it saw our dogs. Im sorry i wasn't thinking when i said that. I have learned to live my life without my beloved nephew. It hurt the most when i was in school working towards my Master's Degree. its easy to blame the breed but my mum had a SHELTIE that went bad after a child hurt it, and tried later it tried to kill a baby,so my grandpa had to shoot it. Because the child wasnt left alone with the dog it fortunately escaped witohut serious injury.
These are the kind of dogs that are sometimes owned by people who use them as a status symbol to look tough and encourage them to be aggressive.
Remember ANY dog can turn vicious!!!

I've never owned a pit bull, but I have owned an American Staffordshire terrier for 12 years, he died of cancer at the end of last year, so I'm kind of sensitive to the problems these dogs face. People always compare dogs like labs to pit bulls. How is that even comparable? Tell me how many labs get decent owners and how many pit bulls get decent owners? Pit bulls are left to the mercy of people and we don't justify their trust. It's always the people. These dogs are victims.

I can't stand Pit bulls they are natrualy like that not thier owners! We have someone across the street who has a pit bull and it's mean as HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!It has no abuse in it's past and these people are really nice. It almost killed my shih tzu blizzard who never barks or kills people! Did you hear about the pit bull that killed that baby or the pit bulls that attacked a pregnant woman out of no where. Not even her dogs!

Do your homework before you start spreading stupidity to others about dogs. Obviously you dont know your dog and you probably will end up hurting someone with your stupidity. The quote below is a 27-year study from 82 to now about the worlds most dangerous dogs and the German shepherd is nowhere in the top unlike the pitbull, which is the first. The reason I hate pitbulls is because of their dumbass owners who think its cool when their dog tries to kill other dogs. My dogs have both been attacked by a pit in less than a month. One, a beagle, was hospitalized. The other one is a 12yr old lab mix and she did nothing to provoke the damn dog it just snaped when it saw our dogs. All the owner said was sorry, are you freakin kidding me. I dont blame the dogs just the stupid idiots they have for owners.Also the attacks were in dif states.

Say what you will but all I see around me with pits are people trying to look hard and the truth about it is they are not and the damn dog is ruined because once they get it in their heads to attack other dogs they are almost unstoppable. i love pitbulls! and every dog/animal to breathe! the barn i go to there is to pittbulls. Blossom and Flower <3 they are the most sweetest dogs ever! Yes flower can get a little protective with other dogs but SHE IS WONDERFUL! SHE PROTECTS! NOT HURTS! and Blossom,is a sweetie,she runs up to you and licks your face and just loves to be loved. Pitbulls are continuously neglected and abused, i for one know that they are loving animals loyal and true. I have a 7 month old brindal pitty, she is the sweetest thing. They are not bread to fight.

like i mentioned before, you don't know how it feels to lose a nephew to a pit bull attack. im sorry if i offended you, but i'm entitled to my opinion. As for me stating my hate for them, i was just venting cuz i miss my nephew very much. Plus why would i kill a pit? i would get my teaching credentials revoked; meaning my hard work earning my masters degree would've been a waste. Say what you want about me, your entitled to your opinion just like me. at least show some empathy.

Im sorry i wasn't thinking when i said that. I have learned to live my life without my beloved nephew. It hurt the most when i was in school working towards my Master's Degree. But now i feel better because im surrounded by wonderful high school students (who are only 8 years younger than me). Teaching has been one of the many cures in my life.

Its the dog owners fault AND the dogs fault ... so what did my uncle do ? well he grabbed a steel bassball bat and beat the pit bulls head in the ground :) yep dead dog . another crappy dog that we dont need biteing our girls. o yeah he had a fence to ! it fucking jumped it ! . he "should of" gone to the courts. but nah . id shoot the dog if it bit me. but a bat killed it :) safe we are

so do i, like i said in my comment, i have 2 rottweilers, griz is 13 and nikka is 4, i've had griz since he was 1,but even tho he's 13 and grumpy he's still a good dog, and nikka is so sweet, if u walk by her she'll just sit down and put her head up so u can pet her, she's prolly one of the nicest rotts. i've ever met,i love rottweilers
