He is an original artist that created a new genre in attempt to interest classical music/instruments to younger crowd. An experiment that earned him international recognition (GQ awarded the man of the year in music award to David Garrett in 2008)

Vsry cool. Although I don't think it is a "Flash Mob" as much as it is a publicity stunt. To my knowledge flash mobs are organized acts spontaneously performed unexpectedly. Only the performers are aware of the action. Eataly was obviously in on the performance as I doubt bright orange traffic cans and camera angles from the ceiling were allowed in w/o their knowledge. But still an excellent piece that I would have loved to seen.

Pretty decent musical performance but it lacks the "magic surprises, from amongst the crowd" feel where different performers in different parts of the location were intermingled with surprised bystanders. Instead of a panoramic constellation of stars, this was a single sun that kept growing in the center.
