He's so overrated. I used to love him, but now I just feel he keeps making the wrong song choices. It's about a song you can sing well and not necessarily a song you like to sing. This performance wasn't bad, but nowhere near Haley's Benny and the Jets.
Also the Nirvana song he sang was awful, really really bad.
I think Taylor Hicks is a whole different story....it seems amazing to me how people are compraing these two guys just for the different looks and pitchyness at times of Casey Abrams, which is not even comparable since hicks lost the pitch much more times, and mostly because Casey being a jazz artist and much more unique, such a talented musician with lots of music game

Casey has good quality of voice and at the same time he has a charcter that will recognized by the world, Casey is not just a good singer but a good ARTIST. Him and Haley in top 2!!!! Casey is my fav but Haley is a really close second for me. I would love if either one won.
I think Casey hasn't been doing as good since the live performances. But he has major talent, his auditions (especially "Georgia on my mind") were great. He is an amazing singer and has great personality.:)

he kinda sounds constipated in spots, otherwise it was okay. still can't forgive him for butchering "teen spirit".
had such high hopes for him after hearing his version of "georgia on my mind" with the stand up bass. so far i've been disappointed.

@FlipsideBallah : I sort of agree with you. Put A Spell On You was great, but I forget if that came before or after Georgia On My Mind. This song wasn't half bad either, but he didn't COMPLETELY butcher Smells Like a Teen Spirit.

Casey is far from my favorite this season, but I did like this performance no crazy antic's no screaching nothing on fire just sitting on a stool and performing the song as it was meant to be sung.............. beautiful

he's a good singer, as most of the top 12 are. but after being saved, couldnt take his drama, like as if he won the finals. yeah, he's special, and different. but, dont think he'll make it to the finals. but he sang 'your song' well, which was achieved when being humble and listening to advice by the producer. b4 this he was too cocky, i think. which i think made americans producing such a result 2 weeks ago... its difficult when ppl has started to feel smthng not nice about someone... turn off.
