@MBRT896 He's got an electric and he's good at it. He seems to favor the classical. Certainly spends more time on it and now, 3years after this vid was posted, he's playing much more advanced stuff. As to what makes him happy, he enjoys lots of different types of music.
Don't think about it do it! I started when I was61yrs .After 6 months of practice and lessons I went to "Picking" sessions twice a month .Getting to play with others is so rewarding.
I agree with the comment about watching Sungha Jung - his style is very different, but as a young guitarist he's mind-blowing. Search out his earliest uploads when he was only 7 or 8 ..... and then look at what he's playing now. WOW!
How did you get so good so young? There is hope for the next generation. For some more talented young musicians check out "Mozart Quartet No. 2 in D Major"
Give him an electric, he'll be a lot happier

I don't know much about classical guitar yet, but, wasn't the cloth supposed to be on the other leg?
otharennaur 1 year ago
@otharennaur Players may prefer the cloth on either leg. There are even some that use two-one on each. Thank you for watching and commenting.

I wish you could teach my son but you're in TX. He needs a school like yours to motivate him without the everyday home distractions. Great job!
