Be cautious with the Parrot Hybrid Cichlid. They are not a fish that respects the peace and balance that Frontosas prefer. It's care free, boisterous attitude, although innocent enough, may be enough to stress the fronts.
That being said, well done. Nice Frontosas and tank.

how do you make your frontosa not shy? mines mare shy everytime i come they swim away and hide or there always hiding? never on the top.

They have been living together for 2 years with no problems at all. The parrot prob thinks he is a Frontosa.

Man, haha, I was about to reply and say that they are cross bred. Then I re-read your post.
I like parrots. Silly, funny characters perhaps due to teh way they look. It seems a bit cruel though. Particularly when they fookin' dye them =(
