If forex, go for ECN broker. warning for forex, please do not choose maket maker broker. bcos you are not trading at the real maket. their income from your loss + comm, they sent spike to hit your stop loss, off quote always happen and they manipulate the maket causing you judge the wrong direction and enter the wrong timing.

I am not sure why I need to know random stock symbols but I do know that if a stock I own is no longer regulated by a Wall Street exchange (Becomes listed on the OTC Pink Sheets because it is a failing business) and is up a dollar I would be selling it.

@jimmytube717 I made $1,180.00 today up $2,000 so far this week. I have quite a few $1,000+ days. Most of the time I average $200-$500. To be fair, I have had some days where I made nothing. But if you take the time to educate yourself (free from the library) and with technology today you can definitely make a good living doing this. Once caveat. To make this kind of money you will need a decent account $50,000 plus. You must build a good sized trading account. Start small and build.

@jimmytube717 5000 shares of BAC goes up 50 cents and you make 2500$ profit. Not that hard to understand really. The hard part is getting the money to invest with. Work hard and spend nothing for a couple years and you will have enough. Or if you want a shortcut, just borrow someone else's money (bank, parents, friends, kids, anyone) and give them 5% interest or something like that. You will be making 0.5 to 1%/day and paying only 5%/year.

But be warn though, for a stock like Citigroup, VERY VOLATILE, that goes the same to any to financial right now. One good thing about Citigroup is that it has high volume of trades going through, so when Im buying or selling 300 shares, I should not get a discrepancy of prices. Best advice I can offer you is compare the opening and high prices for the past 30 days for example to see if there is that range of a 10cent gain for example between the high and open price. Oh yeah, never get greedy.

Can be very easy, like what Jom say, you need atleast 10K, the share price will have to be around 10 dollars or less, and it will depend on how much you going to be paying for commission. For me, I've been dumping my entire 10K into a stock like Citigroup (C: NYSE). Lately, I been able to buy anywhere from 3000-5000 shares (as Citigroup been flucutating from 1.00-3.00 the last 30 days). So for 3000 shares for example, all I need is around 4-5 cent gain and I make that 100 dollars.
