I drove out to Peapack today with the sole purpose to find this mysterious mansion. No matter who I asked for help locating it, shop keeper, civilian walking a dog, i was deliberatley lied to and mislead in an attempt to keep me from finding it. The internet has no directions to it either. Very, very, very creepy????
@dklineo01 i live right near peapack in bernardsville and the mansion is on lake road. people say blair road but they are lying. there are motion sensors everywhere so be careful. goodluck.
just another way to for the law to push people around its a abandoned place nobodys lives there its not a crack den or any thing if you wanna get spooked by an nasty rat infested house all power to you
ok, so back in my much younger and not so smart or respectful days, i went to see the place with my boyfriend and some friends... imagine my suprise seeing this video and seeing MY stupid writing on the wall, yes, the crap they show is mine. Sad to say looking back, it wasnt cool to do but blame youth or drugs or whatever... pretty mindblowing to see it out there for the world to see tho after all these years... still wish it would open to public & avoid the trespassing drama...
I used to tag all the time, but id do it on local stores or ppls houses who pissed me off, why would you tag a haunted mansion? i mean come on, dumb fucks
i was up thier tonight. with 30 of my friends. walked up to the front door sw a black figure standing on top of the front stairs and disapeared. than we snuk up sat on the lawn chairs smoked some cigs than walked around to the side on the right and went behind it and went in the courtyard snuk out after seeing chairs moving. than we chilled for a min and the alarms went off and spot lights were searching for us and we ran down the hill and left fast as hell. if u wanna go with me message me
Its so wild to see that the "Mansion" as we called it, is still bringing people in..
!!!!!
Hell I grew up in the 70s and the "Mansion" was always a "must do". Load up on beer and make the 40 minute drive out there...We used to go up the stairs, wander around the grounds to the lake and boathouse behind the mansion and party !!! We used to have a saying in my old days.... "More Beer, More Pot ...MANSION !!!!!! " :-)
Seems creapy enough to be Haunted but i doubt it, i wander if they would arrest Paranormal Investigators, because it seems they have unlimited acces sometimes.
This place is far from haunted! I used to love when the Nuns cooked for us on Sundays. One has not seen greatness until walking inside this place at Christmas!
i used to go there all the time when i was a little kid like 8 yrs old, we stumbled across it when we were hiking in the woods, went past the gates, one day a nun ran by us and then we saw a hunter guard dude with a gun who said to get out of there because they were gonna start shoooting off soon and he said theres wild wolves there, we got freaked out never went back, i read last year that your supposed to see 2 ghosts one nun who leads u to the house to get killed and one sooldierwhowaskilled
theres an abandoned mansion in wilmington DE around where i live and i went in there and it was awesome!! So i cant understand these stupid laws. if there so concerned about it make it an atraction for people to see. like tours and shit.
my brother use to go to matheny school and hospital on that same property and back in the early 80's we use to use that entrance because at the time that was the only way to get to the school i remember driving back there just to see it the statues always stick in my mind they should just make it a land mark and let people see it
i live in peapack gladstone and i always pass the gates to it on the main rode. ive never seen it up close but dam i would not want to go there at night! there was somtin about crazy nuns who killed orphans and the priest killin all the nuns and then himself that made this place so haunted.
i live in peapack gladstone. its a pretty creepy mansion. except now all you can see of it without getting fined are the old marble gates that lead up to the mansion. even they are balls out creepy to look at!
i went thr scariest shit ever i went wit 10 other ppl like 2yrs ago we broke in an abandon firehouse i think nearby from like the 1800s a bat flew into me lol plus i me nd my friend saw a ghost the whole time thou we was goin the wrong way lol
@GoFastXSR srsly did they hurt you? you dont know the feeling of beeing famous through the walls im of a hell graffer in my school but in the streets just one not rly known just by graffers
I know all of you say to yourselves "Why can't these just leave us kids alone?" But you need to realize that when you go up there to walk around, you are, in fact walking all over their insurance. If some kid goes up there, falls, and breaks a limb then his parents will sue the town...(naturally). Besides, not everyone would like to go up there and explore like most of you. Looters see the value in marble fireplaces and other valuables to tear out...Leave it alone!!!!!!
Why don't the owners see the value in restoring this place and letting people tour it? Seems kind of lame to keep people out when they only want to see the place and the owners could make money doing that.
When I was a kid that place was abandoned but the trees surrounding it were smaller and you could see it from the road around Revene lake. I would take dates there and yunno...
I used to work right next door at the sister mansion which used to be Kate Macey Ladd Convalescent home. I think some King bought it. Those places are unreal and really something to see.
I got an informal tour of that mansion once back in 1997. Pretty amazing on the inside, but also a little odd, like quirky 1960s furniture and TVs the nuns used. The bathrooms seemed oddly plain too. The sconces on the walls of the main hallway were cool, gloved (knights)hands holding lamps. The scariest thing about the mansion in the 1980s, were the angry nuns that would chase you away if you were spotted on the property. There are several enormous old mansions in that part of NJ.
I probably drove there 100 time with my friends as a teen. It was occupied by nuns then, and well kept up. We always said we were going to see Julius Caeser and his friends. Nobody bothered us back then.
I was one of those members. We probably had a dozen or so kids. There just happened to be another group of kids there at the same time. Looking back I can laugh at the insanity of all this. Weeks earlier, a co-worker had gone there, and gotten away with less than $100 fine. We weren't so lucky. I'm sure if the press didn't get involved the fines wouldn't have been so harsh. Basically we got the heat for other kids' vandalism during earlier visits.
Hey i went there last night, its not abandoned there was a black ford explorer in the driveway and i got a deer tick on my arm... id live there though, pimped out place nice view hahaha
Yep thanks to Weird NJ I was one of the 30 young adults at that trial. Thank you Weird Mutha F**king NJ!!! There were only trespassing signs on the windows of the castle, none on the property what so ever. It was totaly a set up to catch out of town _adults_. It was very much like the movie "Nothing But Trouble" with John Candy! I very much hope that Blairsden movie gets made, those nuns seriously need to get pw3ned!!!111
No offense but if the nuns wanna keep it they should at least open it to the public, like a museum or something. That way, they'd earn money out of it.
No you don't! I heard its a feloney charge now! Even as a regular mistormeanor(sp) its not worth it, that town is seriously rotten to the core! Stay away from Peapack, don't shop at its stores, don't give them any buisness at all!
Hey saw you were involved with that case. I was one of many there...It was like 3 different groups of kids. What a night! I hate that town! Remember the downpour of rain as everyone was "detained"
Hello dare guys! Just to let ya know, I got my "night riding" hat in the mail. (Now I'm official.. I guess) You guys always... ALWAYS caution your readers & fans about tresspassing. Well, "Ya play, ya pay". Plus tresspassers tend to wreck or burn sites. Not all but, enough do, to put us legit explorers in the same catagory as far as the law & lawmen are concerned. I always try to get permission. Why you may ask? Becouse, I can't run with only one leg dudes! HA!
