they sounded like older federal electronics.I like them both because,they're both classic E-one's,and older federal pa200's,director's and interceptors sound good on classic rigs that you can actually hear the bass in muffler.
I agree with you on the European sirens but the siren on this truck is not good at all the older whelen hf100 models are too annoying because of the high pitch and they dont mix with the airhorns
those two plus the rescue were at my neighbors house the other night-- they had an electrical fire- burned up the whole side of the house

not good sirens sound too much like an ambulance high pitched whelen siren are no good on fire engines
