  • @MrCatBobJoe What?? Why?? = (

  • @keiichan713 well when bono sings it

  • I understand that the official lyric books say Goo Goo G'joob, but Bono doesnt. You should have left it Koo Koo Kachoo, like everyone knows it.

  • kukukachoo*

  • BONO FTW!!!!!

  • pigs from the gun

  • At 0:32 Bono says dicks from a gun!!!

  • @DadeVox07 pigs from a gun

  • its apeman not eggman. just a note, good video though

  • @undercoveremo008 Actually it is eggman...

  • @TheToughPunkRocker actually if you have the beatles cd with this song and you look at the booklet with the lyrics it is apeman just sayin

  • @undercoveremo008 dude it eggman , they are the eggmen , i am the eggman.

  • Bono's voice is like velvet..so smooth and irresistible..now I see why he gets so many chicks

  • leider crasht bei mir derzeit alles, egal ob tv, pc, brille (ein blättchen bei der nase ist weggebrochen) ..... die waschmaschine geht immer noch nicht.

  • After watching this film I have to say, this was the best part. Best song. Best cover. Best scene. Bono is the perfect rock star. :)

  • Bono sounds pretty good with this band. Hmm......

  • Ok I bet this has been covered a thousand times but I haven't heard, is it "koo koo kachoog"(or however you spell it), or "goo gooo g'joob"? My friend and I had a fight about it that on Rockband or something it said goo goo but I always hear Kookoo... which one is it?>

  • @MyAnimation0 its kookoo kachoo. definately a 'K' though lol. :)

  • Nobody else in history could of wrote this, John Lennon <3

  • love this song sooo much!!!

  • I think that they just have madlibs, and they fill it in, and WAHLAH! lol.

  • You ca ask him. You just have to wait till the zombie apocalypse.

  • @loveisforthepatient Honestly, we will never know for sure, for obvious reasons, we cannot ask John Lennon. I was saying what I thought to be true. As is everyone else.

  • It's sad how much sense most of this makes.

  • @loveisforthepatient So you want me to believe everything I read on wikipedia? No. That is NOT a reliable source, I am sorry to say.

  • Comment removed

  • @FollowersOfTheLeaf I am sorry to say, but yes it is. Contrary to the belief, Wikipedia has a very high credibility rating, also higher than the much more respected Encyclopedia Britannica. Just because the social correct discourse tells you not to trust Wikipedia, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Playing the safe-card: "Wikipedia is not trustworthy!" is just pathetic. Fact of the matter is, you've got nothing else to say, do you?

  • @Tanski20 Honestly, no. Considering there are so many rumors on why this song was written, all with their own "evidence" who knows who is right and who isn't. I was saying what I believed. And no one likes when their beliefs are questioned. I will admit that it wasn't a very good response. So I am sorry.

  • I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all toguether.. john understood humanity >:) thats actually a meaning we are all conected as one spiritually

  • lol can anyone else reherse the whole thing by heart

  • in rehab they put on this song so they can have the stone feel without the stones

  • See what you can accomplish when your high

  • it makes sense to me

  • If it wasnt because im a huge beatles fan, you could think that this was an U2 song, and Bono's voice is perfect for this song!!

  • 60's were freaking amazing. Proof? The Beatles. :)

  • to bad there isnt a love this instead of just a like this button

  • well, jeez, i wish i could write a song like this if i were stoned. most people can't keep their dinner down, he was writing freakin' history!

  • @13pangea that, dude, is how fuckin amazing these people were. can you imagine how awesome they must have been when they were SOBER?

  • Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds=LSD

  • @EarthsEternal O.O reaaaallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? I didn't knoow iiit..........!

  • @cod4snipezzz765 But still, you can't deny that's pretty crazy :)

  • @EarthsEternal In french it's Lucie dans les cieux avec des diamants so it's LCD !

  • @EarthsEternal Best way to smuggle them... in a title of a song :D

  • Lennon wasn't stoned when he wrote this wrong. He got it from an old poem from when he was a kid. He took the poem and changed the words around.

  • love the edgar allen poe shout out

  • AWESOM MOVIES!!!!

  • :( poor Edgar Allen Poe

  • @MrCatBobJoe What do you mean by that? when I googled him he is a poet, was he a beatles member or was he famous or what? I don't know who he is.

  • @snickerz911411 Please tell me you're joking...

  • @HaiBritProductions I'm only twelve I don't know much

  • @snickerz911411 I've known about Poe since I was like 5, and I'm 18 now. Poe was a poet in the 1800's. He's the greatest poet of the English language. He also wrote short stories and is credited with the creation of the sci-fi genre. His material had very dark themes

  • @HaiBritProductions Oh ok, But in my school we don't learn about poets, I was in home school. Didn't learn much.

  • @MrCatBobJoe Ask him why dose he make people cry with dark poems?

  • This song was written to stump teachers and students. Before writing this song, the Beatles had realized their old college professor was having his students analyze their songs. So, in order to fuck with their old teacher/ new students, they wrote this song.

  • its coo coo cachoo, not goo goo g'joob.

  • @Desiree0056 actually it's goo goo g'joob

you can search the original lyric written by John Lennon

    :)

  • I love how he says "boy you've been a naughty girl ." (:

    Love the Beatles Forever (:

  • actually, the "walrus" refers to something maxwell said. if you've ever heard the mccartney rumor, maxwell was looking at mccartney's dead body and said "he kinda looks like a walrus," and lennon pushed him aside and said "no! I AM the walrus!"

  • @MattheauGunnerBrewer lol you are one of the people the glass onion was ment for. There was no death of paul, or no maxwell

  • I effin' love John Lennon, he's the bestest!! EVVA'!! ;) haha I love the Beatles.. I also Love Across the Universe!! (:

  • "knickers" is British for the American "underwear" :)

  • Z E R O !

  • it says knickers on the lyricss.

  • Great version, but the Beatles can't be beat. I love Bono though. Probably the best cover of this song.

  • bono is amazing, guyys *________*

  • bono does a tremendous version of this song and noone cant deny that. simply f**king amazing

  • this song proves that you can make millions with a song with lyrics that make no sense

  • its coo coo catchoo

    not goo goo g'joob

  • The official lyrics booklet included in the Magical Mystery Tour album state that it is "Goo Goo G'Joob"

  • original is goo goo g'joob, in this version it is coo coo catchoo probably looked at the original thats why

  • this is a master piece when u thinlk of it. who else wood b able 2 come up with this lyrics 2gether and in in beat wile still making sence

  • i hope you all know lenon wrote this song on two different acid trips. its partially purposeful nonsense and "i am the walrus" refers to the walrus in the story the walrus and the carpenter. lenon didnt like it that the walrus was actually the villan.

  • @wiz189 another reason why he wrote this was because everyone thougth there was secret messages and meanings in their songs, even in college classes they were tearing apart the meaning of the songs over analyzing it, making nonsense symbolic speculations, so as a response he wrote a song that had no meaning whatsoever.

  • @olcrein well he did a damn good job

  • @wiz189 **Sigh** I am not quite sure that is accurate, Wiz. Back then everyone was trying to find the "hidden meaning" in The Beatles songs, and this one, was supposed to quite literally be a gigantic fuck you to all of the analysts. I am pretty sure in an interview with John Lennon, he said "Find the meaning in that, fuckers" Now, for all I know he could've been on 30 hits of acid. But, the meaning of the song was that there was no meaning at all.

  • @wiz189 he didn't even know... he was like "Shit, i am the carpender. i picked the wrong guy, oh well."

  • deep

  • we are all the same person. seriously think about it..

  • hehe this is really random!!

i cant say that first part! "iam he and he is who?"

  • I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together...

yep I bet Lennon was pretty stoned when he wrote that

  • @Ravenloveit Of course. Wrote the first line one day while on LSD. Wrote the second line another day while on LSD. The rest filled in when he was with Yoko. I looked it up. It says it numerous places.

  • Comment removed

  • nope... i'm pretty sure he was tripping on acid.

  • @Ravenloveit maybe it meant that we are all as one

  • @madbrad812345 I am Me as you are he and you are me. We are all one in the same.

  • @Ravenloveit Wasn't there some interview where Paul said Lennon was on acid when he wrote this song?

  • @Ravenloveit lol, 100th like. :P

  • @cajungirl95 I am he and you are he as you are me and we are all together! Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come? yup , STOOOOOONED
