If drugs were legalized, there would be much more danger in the streets, dangerous drugs like cocaine would become easier to obtain, therefore criminals could buy the same dangerous drugs for cheaper, and cause more crime. People who had never tried drugs before will try them since they would be legal. I honestly think that there is no problem with medical pot, but just going to the pharmacy and buying a bag of crack is not typically safe...

In all fairness, the officer should have only used the taser as a last resort. He could very easily have done some sort of tackle when the guy was heading towards his car (rather than launch 50k volts into him). However the officer prob had reason enuf to use the taser so he did, with that in mind, it still doesn't seem right to me that he had to continue shocking the man even when he was on the ground. He could have just arrested him while he was down. That man could have long term problems now
