  • Браво момичета!

  • I saw them live when I was 12 in sebastopol, CA. Really shed new light on my.. knowing? of music. I'm now 18, I still have their CD, with this song, AND the meanings. =]

  • Beautiful(:

  • Bellissimo

  • Are you coming to the UK any time soon ?

    PLEASE

  • Have they done Yerushalayim Shel Zahav?

  • I bought a few of their CDs from CDBaby. I treasure them!

  • Beautiful voices

  • If you ever get a chance to see them in person, don't miss it. They're even more amazing up close. You'll be transported to another place and time.

  • I've seen them in concert several times...bring a warm coat, because you'll have CHILLS all up and down hearing them live...they're INCREDIBLE.

(not to mention, gracious and kind people every one)

  • absolutely beautiful.

  • Strange mixture of russian jewish and bulgarian tradition. but it sounds pretty nice

  • Brings tears to my eyes, truly, literally....

  • WOOOOOOW

  • Someone please tell me how I can become a member of this ensemble.

  • Prachtig

  • They are absolutely incredible :) They sing beautiful and even words are pronounced without any accent.

    Браво на тези момичета!

  • This is our richness!!! This is Bulgaria!!! I am proud to say that I am Bulgarian!!!

  • Amazingly, beautifully, executed. They sound like angels. OMG!

  • Your singing is, as Garrison Keillor has said, transcendent. I wish everyone could hear your voices and be as moved as I am.

  • Kitka is also the Finnish word for friction of conflict.

  • Very good performance.

  • Oh how I fell in love with these women!

  • this is much of the sacred music of our Slav brethren...IF you don't understand it , keep all ignorant comments to yourself, may the God of Gods have mercy on you souls........mikhail

  • your still assholes

  • absolutely beautiful... gives me tears!!!

  • Ordered their song book, with Hubava Milka in it. Really excited for it to get here so I can do it with my choir. Love the song, although it's kind of a macabre story.

  • or jewish

  • actually it is a Bulgarian and Macedonian word. Kitka means "a bunch of flowers".

  • in any slavic language it means the same!

  • @veselcheto In bulgarian means also wrist.

  • I met them a couple of times, they're great. I used to follow them around California when I lived there, catch them whenever I could. I haven't been able to see them in a couple of years since I moved to Arizona. They don't come up this way much.

  • They do justice to a very beautiful arrangement.

  • In a word, stunning.

GayleMI is obviously comparing Kitka to Sweet Honey In The Rock, which I don't get. The two are completely different (Kitka being choral and SHIR being communal) and the heart that doesn't have room for both is small and unevolved indeed.

  • hi plz i wanna the lyrics of hubava milka if available in Bulgarian thanx for the song i like it and thanx 4 the translation

  • Tears!!! So beautiful...Dobre Bravo!

  • Absolutely gorgeous.

  • I dont even understand what they are singing about, but the goosebums just dont disappear from my arms! - wonderful!

  • :) they are singing a Bulgarian Christmas song...beautiful
