  • I don't think i could say it enough. A beautiful car. I love the style of of 1980's-1990's Japanese automobiles.

  • I have an 1982 one. Dream car.

  • Fun car to drive. It was a labor of love to put back together and I probably spent too much doing it but the end result was nice. Thanks for watching!

  • its really nice commendable care.well for how long u are taking care for it.from begaining since 84?

  • my sister had a 86 prelude and that was the problem with her car was the carb she got feed up with it and sold it and got a 91 accord

  • FYI, Accord & Prelude engines of this generation were designed to mash the gas while turning the ignition. Naturally, one would release the gas pedal as soon as it started. Wish you could find me an '85-'87 Si in good shape.

  • I got one registered in 1982, but has over 250,000 miles.

  • walk down memory lane. I had a 85, 87,89,93,98,and still drive a 01. the 85 was my favorite

  • @mannbrad1 DAMN thats awesome to have had that many i have a 92 and i cant let her go i love it too much

  • some of best built automobiles ever. He died in 91, and I had a 91 Accord coupe. Best damn honda I ever owned, and I owned 2 a 91 and 97. The 91 was far superior to the 97. After he was gone, Honda quality like all the others, Toyotas, Nissans, and Mazdas started it's slow decline in to the depths of the crap they make today. Long Live the Mr. Honda era Hondas!

  • @redmr2na The '98.5-'02 Accords were of the same quality. I had an '02 but someone stole it because it was a rare EX Model with 4cyl V-Tech not V6. It was a Coupe with factory sawblade rims and Black Onyx Pearl. Shame it was found stripped...

  • Love old Japanese cars. My family had an 85 accord 4 door when I was young. These cars were and are still the shit. Ahhh, the golden era when Honda still built it's cars properly, and was still under the iron fist of Mr. Soichiro Honda. Mr. Honda didn't sell crap. I have a book all about Honda history, and about Mr. Honda himself. He didn't put up with shoddy build quality or cost cutting or people cutting corners. He would destroy anyone that went against him. Hondas from his reign are

  • Was a 1.6 I take it?

  • Wow, only 95k miles in over 30 years! my mom's 1998 accord has over 140,000 miles on it.

  • the 1982-1985 Honda Accord was assembled in

    Sayama, Saitama, Japan

    Marysville, Ohio, USA

    Nelson, New Zealand

  • damn, minty fresh all up in my eyes

  • so ironic that i just watched this video today. I have an 85 honda accord like this one with only 95,200 miles just turned today. My cars paint isn't as good looking though. lol

  • Jealous of the car and its low mileage. I have a 1996 LX 2.2L 4-speed auto that I put 100 miles on daily. Some of its videos are up on Youtube under my channel. It has 227k miles currently, and is still running strong. I dread the day that it dies simply because I'm attached to it.

  • thats an amazing lookin car man, nice very nice and rare

  • Great car. I had a silver-blue 84 accord. Looked pretty much the same but the front headlights were a bit different because it was the UK version. Mechanically it was bullet proof and the only issues I had with it was rust round the sun roof. It was great and went past 120,000 miles when I got rid of it without needing any major work. One rear brake calliper was the only part it needed apart from the usual consumables. Happy days!

  • The car was actually sold for far less than I had invested in it. The only real problem it had was a working air conditioner though. Other than that it was an excellent car ALL the way around.

  • @Bohmer7 that was a beautiful car indeed. I did some small restorations as well on older cars and to me what you put into it is more important than what you get out of it... If it looks good you feel good about it, my investment is redeemed. thanks for posting.

  • do you still have the car?

  • did you sell this car yet ?

nice car , it really clean

  • did you sell this car yet ?

  • Omg this car is like.. going down memory lane for me I like grew up in one of these (well actually 2 of these to be more specific.)

  • u know what funny is that accord is 84 and the interior is not funky like the 86 to 87 accord that interior looks like a 90's car ha i got a 89 accord she all most clean to park for 7 years and it only has 168 when i got her ha i just put 88 to 89 sei rims on that car ha make it look nice i had the hood caps but i think i take the sei rims more nice car man if i had that car i take good care of her

  • this is a very beautiful car. whoever did the paint job.... wow better give him the man of the year award. fantastic looking colour. although im not here to buy the car.... id like to show appreciation for a good looking car. man thats the first honda ive seen with radials...... wow..... it looks sick. thats one of the best looking paint jobs ever......

  • thanks pal for our info, i've been looking for the same car here in Egypt but i didn't find the same condition :-(

  • 3:26 oj's bloody gloves (well not bloody) nice car btw. you kept it in really good condition.

  • Man, that Accord was in excellent condition! I had a 1985 Accord LX that my parents bought new. It was good, but in 1999 I cracked the head and junked it because it was covered with rust and not worth fixing.

  • That's one sweet old car - whoever did the restoration, and especially the paint job, deserves to be congratulated.

Too bad they don't make nice-looking cars like this anymore.

  • My first car was an 84 Accord LX. Bought it in 92 with 70,000 and lasted 7 years. Put over 100,000 miles on it before it took a shit. One thing after another needing replacing. RIP. I miss that thing. Thanks for posting this. I wish I took more pictures of mine.

  • Nice car I had a 89 Accord but I like this year better mine was dark gray 4 dr with

the fold up lights I want to get another one with another manual tans I had a 84 Toyota Camry LE Ed model it

  • My father had a '84 accord XL. When he died, my idiot mother sold it to some dumbass that destroys everything he owns. It was it the same condition as yours. I saw the guy 7 years later, asked him how the car was doing, said he needed to weld the struts.
