I very much like how all of the different cornered themes (for the first 3 games, at least) totally fit the overall mood of the game. In the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, you'd always have an almost perfect victory in the end, and Pursuit - Cornered fits that. In Justice For All, things were a bit more obscure, but you still always felt as though you were going to win, and Pursuit - Questioned fits this. In Trials and Tribulations, you feel as though you'll barely win, and Pursuit - Caught fits.

Well, guys, graphics DO matter in a game, but not like the whole "16-Bit vs. 3D" thing, I'm talking about actually good graphics. @Cforce709Creeper I have played Dead Space 2 and part of Dead Space, which is why I said it isn't scary. It's just things jumping up and going "boo", and you killing them with the overpowered saw. Not scary whatsoever. There's no atmosphere, no pacing and the monsters can't get enough screen time (in case you didn't know, monsters remain scary the less you see of them). It's also repetitive beyond belief. If you want to play scary games, play Amnesia: The Dark Descent & Penumbra: Black Plague.

@Cforce709Creeper I've seen it, and it really doesn't seem scarier, and when I said no atmosphere, I assumed that you would be able to comprehend that I meant a tense, horror atmosphere. As soon as the game gets anywhere near tense, some Necromorphs come and ruin it.
I would say that the scariest part of Dead Space 2 is right at the beginning when you have no weapons and it's very dark. The tension begins to build up since you can't defend yourself, and then the game shocks you with a scare.
@Cforce709Creeper They really should put some tension in Dead Space, otherwise it's not much different from any other shooter, the only thing different about it is a few weak scares. Dead Space 1 was very disappointing as a horror game, and as a horror fan I have no inclination to get the second. You should play Amnesia: The Dark Descent, it's actually got pacing, and with no weapons the tension and dread really rack up. It also understands that a monster is scarier the less you see of it.
@pikminzelda123 Yeah, Amnesia scares the hell outta me. I saw a Let's Play of it before playing it, but then I just ended up dreading certain parts because I knew that it would scare me so much. There were 1 or 2 times where I was just standing outside a door, not wanting to enter an area because I knew what would happen.
....But I didn't have the guts to play it alone T_T. But when I played with friends we all just kept making jokes and snarky comments about the game, and it lost all of its horror aspects.

Whats with the really stupid bickering going on. Dead space, halo, cod are a completely different genre of games from ace attorney. Not comparable, and you don't have to hate one to love the other. Different skillset required to play each game. Plus if you play them sided by side you might even accidentally entertain people. Like the last tdm game in call of duty I yelled out OBJECTION after getting killed, the entire lobby was rolling around laughing myself included. Enjoy dont hate.

People, whether a game is good or not is subjective. Objectively, a game is a game, technologically superior or inferior to others, but nothing more.
Phoenix Wright is not the best game ever - the "best game ever" cannot have different opinions about it's quality on it, and different people have different opinions, so having everyone agree that a single game is factually good is impossible.

@Cforce709Creeper I have played Dead Space 2 and part of Dead Space, which is why I said it isn't scary. It's just things jumping up and going "boo", and you killing them with the overpowered saw. Not scary whatsoever. There's no atmosphere, no pacing and the monsters can't get enough screen time (in case you didn't know, monsters remain scary the less you see of them). It's also repetitive beyond belief. If you want to play scary games, play Amnesia: The Dark Descent & Penumbra: Black Plague.

@Cforce709Creeper I've seen it, and it really doesn't seem scarier, and when I said no atmosphere, I assumed that you would be able to comprehend that I meant a tense, horror atmosphere. As soon as the game gets anywhere near tense, some Necromorphs come and ruin it.
I would say that the scariest part of Dead Space 2 is right at the beginning when you have no weapons and it's very dark. The tension begins to build up since you can't defend yourself, and then the game shocks you with a scare.

@Cforce709Creeper They really should put some tension in Dead Space, otherwise it's not much different from any other shooter, the only thing different about it is a few weak scares. Dead Space 1 was very disappointing as a horror game, and as a horror fan I have no inclination to get the second. You should play Amnesia: The Dark Descent, it's actually got pacing, and with no weapons the tension and dread really rack up. It also understands that a monster is scarier the less you see of it.

There were 1 or 2 times where I was just standing outside a door, not wanting to enter an area because I knew what would happen.

At first I didn't like this version of Cornered as much as the first two because it doesn't give you that immediate sense that you've completely pwned the culprit... but now I think this might even be the best version of the Cornered theme.

@Cforce709Creeper Graphics aren't everthing about a game Minecraft and terraria have pixlated graphics, But that dosent mean those games arent fun I have a strong passion for the PW series and it will always have aplace in my heart and law isnt boring in PW in fact its acctually fun and it teaches you about law. plus the game is so fun I actually want to become a lawyer!
