excellent performers but very modest piece.

The late 19. century french repertoire,especially for blow instruments is very academic and without any truly deep inspiration.

Debussy is a only composer which can be considerate innovative,deep,against every acamedy. A true composer in one word

wonderful flute player! AP is my favorite flutist in the world. I used to play the Muramatsu, but now I play Powell Aurumite. Honestly, I like Muramatsu better!!

Definitely agree on Powell vs. Muramatsu (haha, please ignore my username for the time being :-P). I like Powell, but I consistently find that I have more control over the sound on Muramatsu.

One of my favorite pieces, by one of my favorite flutists! What more could I ask for? What a beautiful dress, too. I love the richness of Amy Porter's sound; it's great. I especially love her recording of the Karg-Elert Sonata Appassionata in f#. Great video!
