BUT the 6 counties are NOT part of england they are Part of brittan as a whole. England is a country.
in relation to the comment about being brittish and irish - technically if your from the 6 counties in northern ireland you can are brittish but if your cathloic most of them dont consider themselves as brittish they consider themselves irish , just like their fellow irish in the republic.
