And she totally screwed up by cheating on Tina and there were unresolved issues when they got back together in season 2. But Tina really was not very sympathetic in Season 3, the way she went about expressing her frustration and issues. Bette didn't treat Tina that well in Season 1 at times, but it was balanced with moments of caring and love. But Tina hated Bette in S3.
