u just create a different layer and make it a line layer.

MS paint dont have layers, theres a trick to erase the only color you right-clicked

Sorry for the late replied; when you erase in MS paint, you can pick two colors. Pick the color you want to erase, like red and pick the background color, like white. Then on down the right side of your mouse and drag over to the red and erase it. That's how I did it. I can do a video on it if you like.
