  • sorry for your loss

  • @QuantumQuacks They do make a conscious decision to get in a car & drive after they've been drinking. You know that you've been drining and you know that you're getting into a car to drive. I don't believe you can be too drunk to know that you're getting in a driver's seat, putting a key in the ignition, and putting your foot on the pedal. Besides, must drunk drivers are imparred and not completed waisted, that's all it takes to kill someone.

Importantly, how easy is it to just not drink & drive?

  • @QuantumQuacks

I have hard time with your though process, but supposing you are serious and not drunk at the time...does this mean you can kill somebody while drunk? What about somebody speeding and crossing the center line? What if they kill a couple people? They didn't mean to after all. BTW...drinking doesn't make you unconcious.

  • @cksilverado1 The fact that most drunk drivers drive while drunk is wrong. As soon as you take your first sip of alcohol, you are making a decision to do whatever is coming to you.

  • @QuantumQuacks

Excuse me! I am going to delete your comment after I am done here.

But first of all, That man made a conscious decision to go out, and get drunk! As do many drunks!

And in that decision, he killed 2 innocent people! The only person that was not innocent that night was the drunk driver. So yes, he deserves life in prison.

  • Whay a beautiful red head. So sad :(

  • Karolin, thanks for this, you're a good friend. I'm Sami's Auntie Linda, Ken's sister. My daughters Amanda & Steph & I miss her wonderful spirit everyday. We celebrate her life every May 5 her bday, by watching family videos & looking thru pictures & wearing pink, her fav color. Sami, You'll always be with me like a handprint on my heart. Be Free Forever ... xo

  • She was a very pretty girl. RIP, May God be with her family

  • I come across this today & it really shook me a bit. My oldest daughter graduated from HS in June of 06; hwr, she & her class had their own hardship. A chair complete w/cap, gown, & white rose sat on the field for her best friend who died a few yrs b4 in an accident w/a firearm. You have my deepest condolences. I know that pain never goes away. Even I miss my daughter's best friend & my daughter's in college now. The hurt fades but never goes away. Warmest Sympathies for friends & family.
