  • i <3 this song

  • ...nicely presented...with care and respect...

  • what an amazing slide show to go with this beautiful song.

  • This is a great setting for great words. However I think on this particular version they are singiing slightly too fast

  • i remember singing this song in my choir when i was 13. and 2 years later, it's still my favorite song. <3

  • My choir @ church would sing this arrangement any time we sang "For the beauty of the earth." My FAVORITE!!!

  • I'm agnostic and I love this song.

  • I have always loved John Rutter's arrangements. It's one of the things I miss from singing in a large church.

  • I had the priviledge and honor of singing this beautiful piece with the Interfaith Choir in Redondo Beach, CA in 2009 for a Thanksgiving performance. We had a 6 piece instrumental ensemble acccompaniment. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I am thankful for the opportunity to participate.

  • I love this arrangement. My school's choir is singing this for our concert in November, along with several Mack Wilberg songs. Gee, I wonder what religion my professor is.... :)

  • it is wonderful...so ,i want the score please...thanks

  • im doin a solo on this today for the best choriliers school in the country not kidding neither Elko high school is awesome so im listening to this one part a million times to get it right

  • My choir is singing this and two other pieces. There's a reason this one is my all-time favorite out of all the songs I ever sang. The message is so beautiful, it brings tears from the very beginning. I love it. It's just undescribable. <3

I'm fourteen and already this song is inspiring me to really look out. Our world really is beautiful, and we should focus more on its beauty rather than what we can use to make riches. Our world would be so much more peaceful if we forgot about material.

  • Awh man, flashbacks. I remember singing this when I was like 11. I can't bear how they pronounce "praise" though. Our conductor always used to tell us NOT to make it sound so fractured, if you get me?

Still, fantastic piece. Testament to the wonderment of English composers.

  • yes it is Mormon tbarnacle choir.we sung this song before.. the album is "for the lilies"if i'm not mistaken...

  • ... This cannot be all guys, right? That would be amazing. I am a contralto and can go really low for a girl and actually sound like a guy so I guess I wouldn't be too surprised... but still! Incredible! I can't even go that high lol! My voice just stops and cracks. Men with that kind of range amaze me. Woot!

  • i still cant believe that those are all guys, my choir is singing it,

  • They sang that in the chorus/choir for the freshman in Lakeland ^_^

  • the choir that is singing this is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

  • Actually its the St. Philip's Boy Choir...

  • From where?

  • im singing this

    song and another

    for my schools

    june concert and a

    competition

  • The tempo is fast but \i think it's probably correct as I just heard it sung at this speed on the BBC morning service and their music standards are high (not to say the highest). As an atheist who is familiar with the older tune I very much enjoy this one, which seems to me to be an improvement.

  • the video has soo much nature and it looks so beautiful! it just makes me want to cry!

  • this song is beautiful but very fast

  • wow beautiful vid and pics

  • This is a beautiful song, with beautiful pictures. God's creations are beautiful, and make you feel good. When I was in Hawaii, you had this feeling that made you feel so good. The smell of Hawaii, the sight, the sounds and even what you hear. But this video takes you in another world of happyness. Beautiful video.

  • this is the New Apostolic Church Cape Town.. for those not familiar they sing everything faster than we do in the states..

  • we're singing this in my choir at school

  • you must have spent ages on the video, it suits the hymn really well, so beautiful! I love it!!!

  • it sounds like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir

  • Hi... this are Choir and Orchestra of the New Apostolic Church in Cape Town. I have the a lot of CD's of this wonderful music.

  • Sounds really pretty...they sing it too fast, though.

  • how?

  • OMG i am in a choir and we have a comp and we are singing that sond and another

  • Gorgeous...Everything gorgeous...

  • GOD'S CREATION IS WONDERFUL

  • Whoever made this video............... This is wonderful very well done :D

  • Magnifique!

    Merci :)

  • This was the traditional last song of the year when a I was in my high school choir. I love this song. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of our choir instructer who sadly passed away the year after I graduated.

  • Great Rutter piece - wonderful performance and beautiful images. Thank you for sharing!

  • amazing. i sang this song in choir once, and i just love it so much! thanx for sharing! will favorite!

  • What a Beautiful video...Thank You for sharing...GBY

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! The music and the pics are delicious - "candy" for the eyes and the ears. So pretty and so moving. I love it! Thanks for the video.

  • what they tried to do would have been alot more effective if it went with the music. too fast and sort of random!

  • I agree it's to fast, but I get the impression that theyre going faster and faster, or am I wrong?

  • it is a touch fast, but I've heard another version on youtube by I think an American high school choir that sings it it very slow! even worse!

  • sorry, but it's much too fast!

  • WHAT AM I GOING TO GIVE MY CHILDREN IF THIS GENERATION WASTE ALL OF THIS WONDERFUL THINGS? I WANT MY CHILDREN TO SING THIS SONG SOME DAY IN THE FUTURE, NOT FOR TRADITION BUT BY BEHOLDING AND FEELING EVERYTHING THIS SONG SAYS, AND GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR THIS. wOULD THAT BE POSSIBLY?

  • The Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

  • Interesting. Which choir is this?
