I met Alejandro in Saskatoon Saskatchewan in 99, he was so cool. His show remains the best I have EVER seen in my entire life. I saw him again in Calgary 2002 and he remembered me. Wow.

I have enjoyed Alejandro since my art school days when he was with The Nuns in North Beach and then thru Rank and File and The True Believers..and all his solo work.I met him in San Francisco in the early 90s at Bimbos where he was playing and he signed a cd I had of his "Where have the good times gone",,,,well with him they never stop. So cool he is getting more attention long long ago deserved. The Boxing Mirror is fantastic. And his new lp too. A great great "real animal" he be.
