Green Energy for World Peace, is the theme for the novel, "With These Eyes", written by Horst Steiner. Like Isabelle & Fuji, you can to, do your part to work towards world peace.
People can be seen doing the right things for wrong reasons and vice versa all the time. I find if I listen to my heart I know what to do, when to do it...for all I know I might be here only to say one sentence to one person to make a change in their life and thats it, job done...who knows what chain of events can come of it, know what I mean :)
People can be seen doing the right things for wrong reasons and vice versa all the time. “I've heard people say that they cling to their painful thoughts because they're afraid that without them they wouldn't be activists for peace. “If I feel peaceful,” they say, “why would I bother taking action at all?”
@rooruffneck My experience with "undivided" people is that most are very active in their communities. But, many in my country are "divided" internally AND like you I appreciate greatly their doing all that they do to protect the environment, communities, children, laws, etc.
that is true and to the root of the problems dividing us are our flags...they make us pledge to our flags and promise our lives...give the guns to the politicians tha kings and tha presidents and let us go forth and multiply...no homo
@415life Flags, religion, education, politics, everything is a divider. NAACP, NRA, every group divides us. And turning back to the time of Alexander and even before. We set out to explore and in doing so exploration was morphed into this idea of divide and conquer. What most people fail to see is conquering is pointless when division is absent.
you want to blame, your ego wants to blame something for perceiving and dividing thought, through separation creates conflict. That is why many great "gurus" or sages or philosophers often discuss rather than act.
To put yourself in conflict you are in the midst of not knowing; you can get drinking water from your roof. You can get food from your garden, what else do you need?
"Any country that accepts abortion, is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what it wants."
Look, I am "against" abortions, big time, but that quote from Mother Theresa can only come from a pained and highly divided mind. I'm not suggesting that Adyashanti needs to educate himself on Mother Theresa, but there are many other factors that might account for the so called force of her movement that have everthing to do with the false power of division.
that is because you are looking through your ego......... look at me,.,., i look do not look through ego,.,.,. and i am so great .,.,. and intelligent and i know what he is saying,.... so drop your ego.... lol
With regards to activism - acting against that which we feel is 'wrong'. The question is whether your thoughts/actions/intentions come from the ego or from the level of being/essence. Any action that comes from the ego inherently holds within it a re-action in the realm of form.
Thanks I find my passion for our local watersheds and streams
drives me crazy when the development community gets to encroach and destroy water quality. I take personally to the point I totally resent these developers. Not doing my cause or myself any good being divided . Thanks for this bit of wisdom. Just having a hard time excepting money trumps environrment in most cases.
What he has to offer is solid, and seems true to me. It does run the risk of being misinterpreted to advocating POSTPONING activism until one is "unified"/perfected (?). We are flawed, very flawed, and the wise ones amongst us know it, and go forward anyway -- working on ourselves and working on repairing the world. You can't wait to get "good"/"unified" BEFORE addressing injustices....The point about not having any enemies is beautiful theory. Here on Earth? Necessary, but difficult.
It's not about who is awakened and who isn't, it's not about dividing people in these two categories. There is Light in everybody's life, there were a lot of light in Gandhi's life. Maybe he didn't recognized this light as his own true nature but it's not important, what is important is this : do YOU recognize the light in your life as your own true nature ?
All very well put. When deciding an enemy, contemplate their delusions, the reason for them, how this manifests in greed, hatred etc and understand them until you reach their basic nature and youll see no difference from theirs and yours. noone is to blame; theres no real seperation. Even someone who commits horrible acts is deservent of being brought into the cleansing light of understanding and compassion to uproot their ignorance with awareness and be liberated of their suffering of ignorance
LOL dude you're evil and completely insane! How can anything that makes God to be an angry Deity be correct? Advaita is correct, simply and truly, your way is hell and damnation Advaita is being as one, complete unified peace. You hold no hope in your words, only contempt for those that don't follow your terrifying beliefs, it's a crying shame that you are just another extreme.
I don't see or hear what's evil about this message. There's no such thing as evil, or good. What exactly do you mean by the blood of jesus?
My remedy for sin is seing that fear is the driving force behind all acts of cruelty and war and hate. But sin is still another concept, nothing more. There is nothing wrong will all that. It's just fear, nothing more. Be here and now. good day.
jugment is now - you reap your consequences in the moment - in the moment of sin or right action, the seed of further peace or more suffering is planted. It is in the pain of your divided our hateful heart. Jugment day is now.
Imagine if we could all stop hating the things we don't understand or have a problem with. Imagine if all of us could love ourselves enough to love others unconditionally...
Extraordinary piece. Thank you for posting this. Transparency is truly the key to everything we want in the world - and the best way we can take care of ourselves and each other.
We must be active and take care of the planet. I love the Earth. I am for the environment. I am for the animals. And I agree that when we are active and helping, that we must do it with love and not hate. (No hate against the opponents).
An incredibly important concept to grasp! Serving the one. Nurture a plant, you are serving the one. Nurture yourself, nurture another, you are serving the one. Amazing, Adya. Thank you. And you too, Toad.
I loved it!!! It is encompassing of so many concerns people have right now. The photos really bring it to life. Adya does a beautiful job just with his words. Well Done... Thank you so much.

"My answer is “Because that's what love does.” To think that we need sadness or outrage to motivate us to do what's right is insane.
As if the clearer and happier you get, the less kind you become.
As if when someone finds freedom, she just sits around all day wiith drool running down her chin.
My experience is the opposite. Love is action." --Byron Katie

because from the "I" everything arise.

your true nature is sinful. the only remedy for sin is the BLOOD OF JESUS.

sorry peacepalace,
there is sin. and the only hope that mankind has for redemption is the blood of Jesus.
By that I mean that Jesus shed His blood as the required offering for the sin of mankind.
we are all here... for now. but when the now is over and we die, then comes judgment.
