The Pakistani Taliban and the Afghan Taliban are two completely different factions. The Pakistanis just want to cause chaos in their country, and kill any person they can, whereas the Afghans are fighting for a better future, a better Afghanistan, and a better life for the Afghan people.

Taliban are like Medieval Animals. They dont care about a muslim government, they care about money and power.

They use fear and intimidation tactics with the populations for the sole purpose of achiving that power and they get their money for weapons from the growth of opium and other drugs (or at least did for two decades).

They are terrible people (if they can even be called that), that use relgious and political distorted ideologies as an excuse for the consolidation of their power

@Luishazong the CIA and Pakistani ISI airlifted 50 000+ extremists from around the mideast to fight the soviets, and gave them 800 tnnes of military hardware a week. when they won Reagan praised them as freedom fighters and the US gov ceased giving aid to the country and let it fall to many different lawless warlords, the taliban were a small group of students who took over the country within 5 years.
