@harmonicminorshred They've probably spent more time on guitar than you, have a guitar that's easier to play than yours (hence speeding learning up) or simply learnt a different way. My advice is, look for a few videos that teach complicated stuff (If you're self-taught like me), and never give up :D

In my case, I need a brand new guitar, because mine's getting more and more problems (making sweeps impossible), and when I try to fix it something breaks off, because it's really old too. xD

just a tip;

before 2:20

when you are doing the opens on the top string

instead of holding your hand by 2nd fret , hold it by the next note you are going to play

could help you out alot in other songs , and you will have to break a habit.
