Another great video by Harmd on the truth about Methadone. I lost my son to methadone toxicity from a methadone clinic, proving methadone is not safe in ANY setting. The number of victims is staggering, and their young age saddens my heart.

I currently take methadone daily for my severe Restless Legs Syndrome. Most people who die from taking Methadone die within the first week of taking it, so watch their breathing very carefully if they take it, at least for the first week. I have been on methadone for a year now, only a very low dose though, I take 5mg a night. However, after seeing this video, I am going to ask my doctor if there is anything else I can take for my severe RLS.

I would think about changing doctors. This is an example of misuse of methadone by a doctor (who should know better). RLS is not a problem for which methadone should be prescribed. When used properly - for addiction - methadone can be a life-saver. When misused, methadone can be a life-taker.

I still think about your lose melis. I still take 4 x day 10 mgs Methadone. I do get the nods and . I've been taking them after many tries to help get the pain under control. This is 6 years now. If you take them as prescribed, I don't have a problem. First my Doctoe put me on the lowest doe- 2.5 mgs 3 x day I think, and worked up to where it is nw. Maybe I'm lucky. But I'm mad that there was no instruction as to the consequinces of this med. If so, I would never have taken them.

Hello Melis. We exchanged e-mails about a year ago. You know I have had lower back surgery and after that, 6 months after surgery I was run over at work. You know I hate thinking about coming off this stuff because of all the other drugs they tried, Methadone was the ONLY one that worked. I too nod off and get extremely sleepy. I always thought it was my diabetes. I'm gonna talk to my Doctorin 3 weeks and find out what else we can do. Thanks for this video.
