This video is seriously epic, and made me get the song as well :) I love videos that are this well put together/edited, and you clearly have some fantastic tools.

I think what may have held you back from "best in show" was that your video is a little TOO busy. The first watch through, it's just plain impressive, but after watching it a couple more times i've realized it kind of loses a theme partway through. You've got talent though, that's for sure :)

Grats on winning at con-nichiwa! I had to see which video beat mines, this video isn't that bad, but very sloppy seemed very random to me, but I gotta say it's very creative good internal sync and beat matching. Not a huge fan of the video but overall nice video man.

I agree though, some of it seems sloppy to me too, but I got rushed since I kept procrastinating on it but wanted to get it in for spring contests, but it seems to give off a kind of wabi-sabi feel to it at the same time. I didn't have any overarching story to tell, the song to me doesn't really make sense so I mostly wanted to do stuff with sync and beat matching, so overall it probably comes off as motion graphics art set to rhythm than any story set to music.

@tehninjarox Yeah I understand completely. Honestly I'm not to found with so much random effects and random lip sync and lip flop in amvs. except for the way nostomo does it. Aside from all the effects you used good scene selections to give that good vibe to the video. Also for a handy tip on your next videos watch out for blending. I see a lot of that. the video will look much better without the blending.
