I am pretty sure the strumming pattern for most of the song is D D U D, I am not sure for the bridge though. Guys, just listen to the song over and over again and eventually the strumming pattern will hit you, trust me.

her showing us the chords kinda proves a wonderful song doesnt have to have really intense guitar shit, it can just have simple guitar patterns but meaningful words, which now takes the pressure off guitar playing but more so on what the lyrics stand for. or thats what i think.

Try to listen again an hear the difference between Up- and Downstrokes...i remember its real hard when youve just started playing. Once you got it you might wanna check out Wonderwall by Oasis - almost the same chords - different strum pattern (D D D - U D U D D-U D U D D-U U D U D U D).
