I don't think the show is fake but the show is heavily edited and they try to heighten people's reactions when they don't get much, and I don't think this girl believed this very much. They put in the scream of course, and in the end they usually edit when they do the reveal so that they don't have to show them explaining what Scare Tactics is. In this case they cut down on her response and used a different shot where you couldn't see her mouth to do it. The extra shot didn't match up.
