hey man, any thoughts about whether this would run starcraft 2? i dont know how you got it to work so smooth, i have the same system, but 2 gig ram and mine struggle to play the latest age of empires
This should play wow on almost maxed out settings if you are PVE. If you do pvp and raid a lot, you will have to run it on medium settings.If you are looking for running any games maxed out, then I recommend a 15 inch gamin laptop like from Asus, Sony, MSI, Alienware, Clevo, etc. Try aim for over a mid level graphics card.

I have a copy from my university for lab purposes so I haven't filled out the form for my upgrade on my dv2. Check it out, they should have a list of which machines are eligible.
@ironar ussualy if you dont have lag in the single player then you wont ONline. Onlything online you would have to worie about is internet lag. Like ping rate

@ironar hmm... there is a new mmo coming out fe or the end of jan called global agenda, it looks good. Umm battle field 2142 and the new one 1943 thats coming out soon over at the ea store. I never overclock stuff b/c IMO I feel that if I need to overclock, then I need better hardware. This thing creams the vids I've seen of the n10j, and this has a higher res scree. The n10j can't play games like COD 4and devil may cry 4 or bioshock. And since they cost the same....why get the n10j? B/c if you are into good battery, then the n10j is the best choice.
The Radeon 3410 is a bit under powered even for entry level gaming these days, but for some older games, it's a great solution like for BF2. I think there needs to be a refresh model with the Radeon 4330.

The dual core will make a huge difference. Especially if you are doing anything in the background. Some games even have multi-threading programmed in.

You can install on different computers, but only single player will work. Multiplayer checks for multiple instances of the same cd key, and blocks you out if it's already in use.

I'm pretty sure you can, but you can't quote me on that. I can try hunt down a wired 360 controller to let you know. You'd have to give me a few days though. Most games for windows nowadays have 360 controller integration, but not all.
How much is this? Is it good for good graphic games like bioshock 2 and resident evil 5?

use rmclock to lock the processor to 1.6ghz
this laptop always go down to 800mhz for no reason.

What kind of graphics card do you have in that Asus? CPU will run it fine, but graphics card is a major factor.
