I don't agree with The Bates. The Duggars made their own house with their own money. The Bates wouldn't have been able to add on, and they kepting having babies, and their kids had to sleep in the attic! I love the Duggars but the Bates are selfish. They need to accept not everyone can afford to raise seventeen kids!!!

@Sarah99ification The Duggars lived in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house (a small one) with 14 children for years while they saved up enough money for the house they have now. The Bates were in the same boat, but the crew just came in and helped them out instead of waiting to save up the rest like the Duggars did. Doesn't matter if kids sleep in the attic, they're fed, housed, and there is TONS of love. That means more than big bedrooms.

@Revelation7912 The Duggars had already started building their house 2 years before their first television show. I believe they started to build it when they had 11 children, they were making an effort to better their living situation. However, the Bates weren't doing anything to better theirs, If the Duggars hadn't of paid for most of the addition they would probably still be cramped in that house with only 2 bathrooms. I'm willing to bet they also would of kept on having kids.

It would be helpful if the Duggars wrote a financial advice book. They do so much with their money. In this season they helped the Bates with their house and and they have a beautiful house that is almost like a mini palace. Amazing. If I lived their I wouldn't want to leave. :)

@richslaters he's not saying that people have to believe in God in order help each other and share. That wasn't what he said at all and you took it out of context. He's simply pointing out that in the Bible, God commands people to share and help each other, and more people in the world, Christian and otherwise, have a good example in how well these people helped each other here. Even if the Bates/Duggers weren't Christian, it still would be a good example.

did anyone else watch the episod eof 17/18 idk which were the bates came over nd they did skydiving, watch that episode then look at the bates clothes now. its evolved the same way the duggars did from when they had the 1 hour special 14 kids and pregnant again :L

last I knew, Bates: 17. Duggars: 18 (not including Josie, bc she wasn't born yet) and I think the Wilson's have 12.

it's been thoroughly gratifying watching the progress on the Bate's house ,they deserve it wholeheartedly ,they need their own T.V show ,they are so inspirational and enjoyable to watch ,they are all angelic and pure looking .
