  • how did you rebuild the metroliner

  • Not much work, a new front door from an amfleet car, diapragms, windows from an amfleet car, a bit paint and Microscale decals

  • can you use a amfleet car insted

  • Not easily. The Bachmann Metroliner and the Walthers Amfleet have a different shape, so the cab wouldn´t fit so good.

  • it looks like stop motion

  • Next video you do, could you show a push video with the cab car?

  • Quick, name that caboose?

  • How do you get the street running track?

  • Its standard code 83 track covered with cardboard...

  • sweet

  • Is that a cabcar on the end?

  • Yes, its a rebuilt Bachmann Metroliner

  • Nice job on the cab car Acela82. I've metalized a 4 car HO set with Alclad II Metalizer. I clearcoated them, which dulled them slightly to resemble stainless steel. I'm refinishing them into the 1968 Penn Central scheme. I posted my photo results on the Kalmbach Model Railroader Forum earlier this year. Check it out. Now I have to paint the cab sides white and make up the PC "worm" decals. It's so ironic that Bachmann was the only company that produced plastic HO Metroliners.

  • Very Nice! 5*****!

  • Thats pretty cool, I like the crossing signals that you used too. Are those Busch crossing signals?

  • I have the 1st one that moves

  • where did you get the cab car?

  • Its a rebuilt Bachmann Metroliner...

  • sweet, keep up the good work!
