a stock yfz will kill a trx and an ltr, not sure about the kfx, outlaw or ktm but i do know that a stock yfz has more than enough power to get the job done for some, mine has a long rod, high comp piston, hotcams stage two cams vp mr11 fuel, twin air powerflow intake, and an hmf full exhaust, it gets really quick, hard to hold on to
yfzs are the best quad you can get for the money by all means. But the KFX is better, not by much, but its not worth the extra 2-3k bucks for just reverse, slightly better suspention and fuel injection, the Outlaws and KTM 450's will eat anything you put up against them stock for stock but getting one is gonna empty your wallet because they cost about 11-13k
wow... the polaris 450 is regular 7-8k new... the ktm 450 is 13k but it's the best sport quad hands down... the kfx is 8k im pretty sure but the outlaw has reverse so it is the best
@rdnqds ktm will beat it not kfx or outlaw ltr would to are you crazy its been proven in a 450 shootout hel by atvondemand the ltr had faster lap times than any other
@RideHardBoi427 i have a warrior and the new 450x . the warrior has amazing low end torque but thats from such a low first gear. The yfz's have amazing bottom end and torque all around. Ill let ya know what my yfz does on the dyno
Hello my friend! What do you think is the best overall spocket gearing for a yamaha warrior?? Right now i have 14/40 and it will do 70. I want it to get up a lil faster and keep the speed close to the same or faster if possible. Thanks!!
dude i have a 02 warrior and it's really set up 4 racing it has +5 wheel spacers, its been bored out and stroked out, has new bumpers, nerfs, skids, and handlebars, jet kit, k&n filter, dg pipe and header, and has stock gearing and it'll do 75 with 20'' tires. its all about your gearing and size of your back tires the bigger the faster but also the poochier. if you want fast get a 18 tooth front sprocket. that'll make it go fast and still have some low end.
18 tooth front sprocket will make it go very fast if you have a 3 mile long stretch to get there unelss its very worked it wont get there. Not trying to be a dick but warriors arent realy good racing quads i had one and found out very quick wheel spacers tend to brake the studs and put lots of stress on it and DG pipes sound nice but arent that good my banshee is pushin it with a 17t front sprocket it should probably be geared a little closer
yfz 450 is the best their is!!!!

@DJMisT0910 no way in hell your warrior does 94.2, there is no way it does 75, quit lying,
and increasing your intake will not give you extra CC's

@DISS42JR
You don't need reverse when racing motocross. And also, the KFX has reverse.

@rdnqds my yfz murdered a kfx with a pipe and programmer. yfz's pull harder quicker out of the line. great holeshot power
