Yesterday, I bought a second hand d4, but when I plug my headphones/amp in, I can't hear any sound. The previous owner didn't get why it won't work. Can you help me, please?

also if you do plug it into a mixer to record do you need any programs like toontrack or BFG or other drum software?

Mate, what are the steps to change the cross talk? from the start screen when you turn it on, what buttons do you press. I think some of my buttons aren't working to get to the cross talk screen. Cheers

I mean on ur software will u have track 1 as bass drum and then. SEPERATELY track 2 snare and so on will u be able to mess around with them indivdually

no you would have to trigger them using the sound on the computer, and then u could simply do it. easy. But no you cant straight from triggers

I noticed that the d4 only has 2 stereo outs so if you have a full kit you cant assign each track on your software to each drum so you cant mix each track am i correct?

when u say the mix, do u mean the pan and volume of each individual track?

this question is kinda premature cuz i havent used it with a trigger yet, but i just bought the D4 and i noticed the dynamics on the preview button: when you hit it hard it doesnt sound as good as when you hit it softly. does this mean when i trigger my kick drum its gonna sound like the louder dynamic? im really hoping i can get the sound i want with the sensitivity

some guy is offering me thi drum the alesis d4 i was planning to get an electronic drum set would you recommend the alesis d4? does it have a clear sound?

it has a very clear sound, but it depends how much u want to spend for an electric kit, if i were u get a roland td6

for a show, if u used a alesis drum module and/or mixer , how many amps would u use? kinda personal question sry haha lol, and i am jw is there any kind of wire input that like hooks into one and has to other inputs so like a wire to 2 amps? jw thank you

i would use wot evers load enough ahaha, u can out put to too amps, because it has a L/R input on the back, 1 for left 1 for right

What kick sound do you use and how do you have it tuned?

Also what snare sound did you use in the past when you triggered it?

Do you know any of the snares you used? I couldn't find any I liked but I was just using the sample button becuase I haven't decided if I want a snare trigger yet. Also how do gravity blasts sound with a snare trigger?

gravity blasts do work, suprisingly very very easily,

i dont think they work entily very well with loose snare skins though ahaha
