  • lol mario must of been like fuck this shit im done

  • Easyyyy

  • lol the flagpost on 1:29.

  • he is playing as mama luigi

  • What happens after you beat World 8, Does the game just end?

  • This world is fun but not very difficult in front of the others ^^

  • wtf i never knew about this game

  • so this is the lost level? thumbs me up if i am right

  • Personally, I prefer the air

  • I also noticed the "アリガトウ!" ("thank you!") message. What's curious is that since it's a Japanese word, it should really be written in hiragana (ありがとう!) instead (or kanji if there's appropriate characters for that), but I suppose since katakana's more angular it's easier to form the symbols in the stage...

  • @Stungunwol - It is, that and katakana's often used for emphasis. It's like typing in all caps in english, so it's more like THANK YOU!

I remember being all like :3 when I played through 9-4 my first time.

  • 0:41 onwards. A waving flag UNDER WATER!?

  • it is on smb deluxe

  • thumbs up if you only got 200 points at the flag under water

  • They really should've called this game" Mario's Kitchen Sink."

  • I remember playing this a long time ago, I noticed that sometimes after 8-4 I'd go straight to A-1 and so on while other times I'd be taken to 9-1 through 9-4 before going to A-1. I'v never played worlds like 8-5, 8-7, 8-8, I-1, H-1, G-1 or any of those.

  • i loved the fact that you don't have to do the whole game in one setting thanks to super mario all-stars. it saved my life.

  • This is in All-Stars in the USA!! Just don't warp!

  • løøøøve the graphics!!!!......Just sayin' ;)

  • Ok, lol first of all @pfcoplus u need a wii and a ds before you can say that it works for all of them..... as a matter of fact there is not a worlds 9.. the game u are playing is not the actual super mario bros, thats the computer version, that u can play free(google it) that version of super mario bros is NOTHING like the actual game, I have played the computer version and ALL the levels are different, and yes there is the level 9 ON THE COMPUTER VERSION... so stop trying to be a know it all

  • @pitty800 There's no such thing as a "computer version" of this game, unless it's fanmade. There's the original/NES version (Japanese SMB2), the SNES version (SMB Lost Levels, shown in the video) and the Game Boy version (SMB Deluxe).

All versions except for Deluxe have a World 9 AND also secret worlds A, B, C and D.

  • @vaiyt They must mean Super Mario Bros. Special, which was released for the Sharp X1 and NEC-8801 computers.

  • @vaiyt yes there is a computer version go to w w w super mario brothers org ( all together )

  • @pitty800 Doesn't change the fact that most versions of the game (including the original NES one) HAVE a World 9, which was what you were contesting.

  • How d'ya enter World 9?

  • wats the website called

  • FAKE There is no World 9

  • @Guitardude8794 If you pass the entire game WITHOUT using any warps, and you're using the Japanese version, then you get it.

  • @LexLight1 Huh. Really.... so World 9 isnt in the American Version? Thats weird. In all my life I never heard of that. I knew about Worlds A-1 to D-4 but never guessed there was a World 9. Well sorry for my statement then @pfcoplus

  • 9-4 had the blocks arranged to spell out a messege in japanese. I wonder what it said.

  • @TtheWriter everybody rubber ducky

  • @TtheWriter Arigatou, Wow i just saw that! :D

  • isnt there up to world 12?

  • faken

  • this world is really ****ed up.

  • Looked better in nes.

  • i can't believe this is real. it kinda freaks me out.

  • 666 coments O.o

  • this has no sense after all, this should called MINUS WORLD with water and common platforms like other ones that matio always steps...

  • world 9 never made sense to me, the only parts not underwater are world 9-3 and the first area of world 9-1 (with the warp pipe)

  • real ?

  • @karihomo yes this world is also been appeared in the original SMB2 (JPN)

all you need to do is beat worlds 1-8 WITHOUT using warp zones, if you do it then this worlds will appear.

  • this is just a normal level with a water background

  • anyone notice how the bricks kinda spell something at 2:56-end?

  • @thedeityofseration It says "arigatou!"

  • @IronSheikah Kind of like thanks for surviving huh?

  • @IronSheikah thanks! i was wondering what that was...

  • I never made it past 8-4.... :(

  • the hell is a castle doin under water?

  • Anything happen if you crawl up the vine at 1:55?

  • At 9-4, you swim by Japanese text saying "Arigatou".

  • The Famicom version of this world was way cooler and trippier; it looked exactly like a regular grass stage rather than an underwater one, only the colours were all screwed up.

  • I remember the first time I got to this.I was all like what the F is going on!!!?

  • I think to need to not warp at all then to get level nine in super mario all stars#1 then.

  • That's pretty neat how it spells アリガトウ at the end.

  • 2:57 ア リ ガ ト ウ = T H A N K Y O U !

  • koopas underwates...wakakaakkakaaka!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:07, where is the pipe :P?

  • If you get a game over while in World 9, you don't get to play it again without beating the entire game without warping all over again.

  • i read in 9-4 "thank you!"

  • okkkkkay so whats in the castle???? I just started playing this game and it really pisses me off....!!!

  • @streaky1992 So THAT'S where King Koopa left his cigar.

    THAT JUST RAISES FURTHER QUESTIONS!

  • everything looks so differant than the new virsion! :)))))

  • i like how its called the lost levels when in reality it should be called Super mario bros 2 :D

  • what does the beanstock in level 9-3 do?

  • Heheh. luigi is swimming..

  • you mean super mario bros 2 japenese version not lost levels

  • short levels

  • gdet hhhhhhhhhhhhby5v4ggfrrrrrte35rtbt5rtfrgrfhdfiughyrfvegreshfuvklterhfuigoehrwyofnuiu54ytrnh8uioy354huglhrweuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy

  • 2:55 - 3:05 a word in japanese? it has an '' ! '' at the end

  • @negroconvuvuzela It's saying "Thank you!"

  • For Christ's sake, Atlantis sank in the water -.-

  • Nice little hack.

  • @caturn88

It's not. You need to beat every level (1-1 to 8-4) without warping. Dunno about saving though.

  • there was fire in water?

  • 2:34 luigi jumped over the flagpole

  • 2:32 Lol

  • Scaaaaaary music..... Lol

  • really you are asking that?? because waves move everything including flags...

  • So why are the flags blowing underwater? :-)

  • I don't believe this is f***ing real! Even I could never play like that! You has talent!

  • 3:00 ...fire in water...

  • Ma come si fa precisamente ad accedere al mondo 9? (Perfavore, vorrei una risposta)

  • @sorrisettocarino65 Avere per completare il gioco senza usare qualsiasi WARP ZONE. (Google Translated from "You have to complete the game without using any WARP ZONE")

  • I really like the underwater flagpoles and the "hidden message" in 9-4 アリガトウ! (arigatou! = thanks!)

It's worth playing through every single level to reach this world..

  • Don't be too impressed folks a simple SNES GameGenie code unlocks all the levels in Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels (just make sure you turn off the codes if you want to save the levels to the SNES cartridge) your done. If someone wants to impress me download the harder Famicom Disk System version on Wii Virtual Console and get to World 9 then you'll be the man the wimpy SNES All-Stars version wont cut here so that's what you have to do. I DARE ANYONE TO TRY IT.

  • 2:54

    OH NO!

    MY TWO WORST FEARS!

    HAMMER BROS

    AND WATER LEVELS!

  • @2:55 are those letters and if so what do they say?

  • @that1guywhoknows im pretty sure it says thank you in japanese

  • 2:32 - bug :D

  • WTF this is Super Mario Bros 2

  • @SolomontheCreatur This is the SNES version of the original Japanese NES SMB 2, which was not released in the West b/c Nintendo thought it would be too "hard", so instead we got a version of SMB 2 which was a modified version of a Japanese NES game called Doki Doki Panic.

  • wow but i beat this game without warpin or do i have to play without savin it?????

  • Does anyone feel like translating the 4th level blocks?

  • @kricku its arigato in katakana...it means thank u...mario ftw

  • @kricku IIRC it says "Thank you!"

  • 2:31 Epic Pole Jump

  • Oh yeah fire ball underwater, how ethical.

  • @DigitalFrangipani Ethical isn't even the right word to use. =/

  • and what about the levels A-D?

  • people not fake

  • Dude... where's the end???

  • Was this a glitch? or was it actually supposed to be in the game?

I have no doubt it's real, but is it a glitch?

  • You press the buttons along with the music. Nice.

  • It's simply unacceptable this level has eluded me after all these years......I should have looked into it more instead of thinking I was finished....sigh..anyway bravo man...(and you had more close calls than I could count! Lol)

  • O pulo do Luigi é 2 vezes o do Mario.

  • Does the beanstock in world 9-3 go anywhere?

  • 2:31 Luigi jumps the flagpole!

  • What's the difference between the green piranha plants and the red ones?

  • @2kpal10

    i dont think there's a difference, but i'm not 100% sure

  • @2kpal10 - One of them come up if you're standing next to the pipe, the other doesn't.

  • luigi sucks

  • @Kevin7921 YOU suck! Luigi is BETTER than Mario! Only Mario would let himself get trapped in a painting by a bunch of Boos (play Luigi's Mansion)!

  • @Kingofcolor so who cares you can't just say i suck because i think luigi sucks that's an oppinon and that's not very nice of waht you said and i think luigi is better so now buz of and have fun!

  • this is incredibly old verison!

  • The classic music that made you feel like you we're in a magical world.

  • Sometimes the Japanese are the weirdest people in the world.

    Sometimes they're the most awesome.

    Sometimes... they're both. o_O

  • bonus my ass

  • @colt950 wow lol XD

  • @JormichaJr135 i know it's not just wow it's awsome

  • The platforms in 9-4 kinda spell out p****.

  • this real level as secret level is the very hard dificult a im not playng this level

  • 3:00

    what the hell!

how can there be a fireball UNDERWATER?

  • @streaky1992 hes fucking mario.(:

  • @streaky1992 because its mario.;)

  • @streaky1992

    NINTENDO LOGIC

  • @streaky1992 ask spongebob, he manages to start fires underwater

  • @bearandwoot technicaly speacking, it's posible to start fire under water but you would have to mae a reaction that could make O2 out of water, and then generate more heat than what it disipated through water. see lethium for example.

But you won't the the flare, just bubbles

  • Neat!

  • You we're right to the beat of the music when you were swimming!

  • Great video, man!!

And no, this is not a fake!!

To reach World 9 you must clear all levels, from 1-1 to 8-4, WITHOUT warping!

  • @bowcard And if you clear that, you get worlds A-D as well. I beat TLL, all thirteen worlds. :D

  • @bowcard dood u buy it on wii shop chanel

  • @bowcard what are worlds a to d?

  • What about getting a GameOver, and selecting continue?

  • Son mamadas, el mundo es un fake!!

  • i just found out about this today! I feel like such a bad fan, I had no idea!! but i always hated water levels.

  • Is this level hacked or glitched or real?

  • @ontariodrome its for real, I think you have to beat the game 2 times in a row without using warp pipes to skip. Good luck

  • Think the code came as: insert random stuff here

  • Luigi are dreaming in water.

  • Lol when i saw this world i thought it was some kind of glitchy world since i never saw this world the other time i beat it and the lvls looked kinda easy :P especially 9-3 XD and there are land monsters and fireballs in the water :O

  • This game proves it, this series, & possibly all of Nintendo's franchises defy logic, another thing to call this would be nintendo logic

  • I can't believe they reprogrammed World 9 for the SNES version.

  • On the 4th level I saw, I saw japanese writing! What does it translate to?

  • @xanem123 アリガトウ! A Ri Ga To U - thanks/danke

  • who builds a castle underwater anyway?!

    O_o

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx ITS ATLANTIS!!!

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx spongebob

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx no this takes place after 2012 thats why its underwater

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx Triton?

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx atlantis.... nuf' said

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx one BAMF like toadstool :P lol

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx mermaids DURRRRR :P

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx

    poseidon

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx

    ever heard of atlantis?

  • @relo999 atlantis was not built underwater... it sank

  • @robenjasper

I know, but a good building could still be under water

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx maybe the zoras

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx Bowser and his minions while wearing scuba suits

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx i do that alot... in minecraft

  • @xXXYoshiRockzXXx who places pipes underwater

  • @meldan100 The Mario Brothers?

Just saying, they are the plumbers.

  • Those water levels look like they suck.. i like the music on the next level

  • How does one actually unlock this? I did on the Super Mario All Stars game on the SNES a long time ago without actually knowing how I did it

  • @jargan1983 You have to beat the game without using any warps

  • music sounds like lttp (link to the past)

  • HOW DO YOU UNLOCK THIS!?

  • I wonder what they were smoking when they created this world.

  • lmfao at Bowser

Bowser: "I'ma hammer you!... Or not.."

  • Damn the lack of editing. Brothers*

  • World 9 is not fake. This is Super Mario Brother: The Lost Levels. A game that's a rehash of the original with slightly altered levels and ramped difficulty, this really is your prize for beating the game without warps. Then there is A, B, C and D. Trust me, I did beat this game fully one time.

    World 9 is not fake.

    World 9 is not fake.

    World 9 is NOT fake.

  • i remember the time i played this and kept geting to the back to world 1 warp and its the only one there

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRabbid101 ^ This does not look anything like an intelligent person.

  • @TheRabbid101 You've never played Lost Levels, I'm guessing.

  • Real, fake? Either way these levels are pretty awful.

  • @AgentAegis These are real. If you beat the game without using a warp, using a continue or powering down your system, you get these.

Then worlds A, B, C and D follow. No, I am not kidding. I did this once and I stopped at one of the letter worlds just to see if I would lose progress in SMAS, and the battery actually saved my place. So I guess after you start world 9 or A, you can stop and give yourself a break. (And I wasted an entire afternoon doing this crap too.)

  • I hate 2 things:

    WATER LEVELS

    AND

    LAKITU

    !!!

  • this is so fake

  • @Wess9412

its call super mario bros.2 the lost levels it comes with super mario all-stars or you can download the nes on the wii shop channal
