I think Insomnium and Equilibrium (German Folk Metal) have got the (for there genre) demos with the best quality, it´s amazing for the first album of a band.
I think some bands couldn´t make bad music. They´re not much, but I think Insomnium is one of them. Their iStyle is from the Demo to their newest album only Insomnium, but different every time. Great band!
fuck this band makes it hard to pick only one great song from them. definately a great band but people have trouble getting over the vocals and just toss them away, the vocals to me make the songs more powerful and add to the meldoic presence of the guitars
Truth, i've tried lots of time to convince someone to listen to insomnium, but damn..they just can't get used to growl. It's a big loss, cause lyrics, music and everything about insomnium is beautiful.
@KrzewoxXx lol i know what u mean...i successfully brought some of my turkish non-metal friends into listening melodic death through insomnium:)..eventhough theyre into house and other electronic music..now they listen to it when theyre alone and nobody around who judges them hahahhaha..its what i call "planting seeds";)
I also want to buy their demo, but I dont know where to find it. Especially this one,because its from 1999. Their other demo from 2002 might be more possible to find but I have no leads for that one as well.
