@R0BB06874 I thought the effects were alright, it's the ACTING that needed improvement. The big problem a lot of Hollywood films have is the dependence on CGI to get a movie over. Many of the great actors of yesterday, who are still great actors today don't do many CGI-heavy flicks. Not to mention, Hollywood shouldn't do it. A studio in Japan should do the live action, because they'd actually have Japanese people in it.
The way Hollywood goes, we'd wind up with Nicholas Cage as the Guyver.

That is still guyver #1, he just gain a newer unit called, Gigantic unit. he can still be Guyver #1, but he can call the Gigantic when he needs to =]
u used to be able to watch them all on Stage 6 before it closed down, the only other place i can think of is "Veoh" but you will need to download them i belive.

I agree that the original series was pretty much better. But the truth is if they didnt make the gigantic Guyver then it'd be too difficult for them to defeat the 12 Zoalords if u think about it so it sorta balances it out. Also something needed to be strong enough to take on Alkenphel.

Yeah the manga is far ahead of this, I haven't read any of it(it's impossible to find scanlations) but I did read in the booklet that came with this dvd there more then likely will be another series, just anime and manga progression bullshit probably, give the manga more time and once there's enough for another series or hell even the rest of it there will be.

Actually, Sho has the Gigantic power-up for good now since his will has proven to be stronger than Agito's(Sho willed it away from him in the middle of a fight and Agito couldn't call it back). However, Agito seems to be planning to use the Zoa crystals to make his own version of Gigantic.
The music killed it... I've had all the eps since the final ep in February 2006. They need to continue the episodes... even if it is going to start off in Japanese again.

ebay would be your best bet mate. loads of people have boot legged the old series from VHS to DVD. the quality is still VHS quality, but hey it's still good.
