Inspired to search for 'bothy ballads' because I've been catching up on my recordings of 'Scotland's Music with Phil Cunningham' having just come back from Edinburgh, visiting family and taking in the Fringe Festival :)

I was brought up in England but very proud of my Scottish roots, and the music has always sung to my soul since I was wee (Im 30, still wee?!)
