Save the money. Use an old laptop, higher resolution and it's free, minus whatever parts.

Plus just the experience can be fun.

Wow, you really chopped that thing apart! I was lazier when making mine -- I just disassembled the screen part and left the majority of the CPU part intact. It takes up more space than yours, but it took a lot less work. :)

I have done the same and about to do it to another i have alot of old computer parts collecting dust so i put them to use in my videos i took an old pc case and made a pop can dispencor outta it. Instead of throwing away old pc parts get some use outta them.
