I hope not too many people think that 'flour' is 'floor', either. It is just an old spelling of 'flower', contrasting with 'grass' in the previous verse.

We're singing this with my choir (SSA) and I love it- so haunting and beautiful. I'm alto though so I end up singing last in the rounds in This Little Babe, it's so difficult! I'm sure we sing it faster than this aswell...
