I wish I could revisit Egypt. I went when I was 11 and I don't think I really appreciated how lucky I was to just be there...... I even went inside the Great pyramid, all the way down to the tomb chamber (though they'd moved nearly everything from inside to the Cairo museum) and I remember the air being really heavy and full of dust so you could hardly breathe... It kind of freaked me out, but it was still an awesome experience to have!!

The pyramids, surprisingly for me when I visited, are no big deal, and Hatsheput's temple is the most interesting one to me. I was studying archaeology back than and what shocked me was that the archaeology student in me couldn't help but gasp before the Nile, and hardly felt a thing when facing all the said to be majestic ruins of the temples.
